This mod is awfully broken after 41.78 update. Please disable it for now. I will take a look if there's any solution.

Based on reports I've received, there's two possible causes for this issue.
1. New server option 'MapRemotePlayerVisibility'. (Remote player refers to online player)
2. Developers might have added a distance filter to the player list or player data update which is causing player positions not being updated or removed when you are far from each other.
Since these two causes might be related to each other, I would like to suggest you to change the 'MapRemotePlayerVisibility' option value.
Dedicated server admin can change the value inside server.ini. Look for 'MapRemotePlayerVisibility=1' and change it to 'MapRemotePlayerVisibility=3'.
In-game server host can change it through server settings -> Players -> MapRemotePlayerVisibility and set the value to 3.
If you need me to expose the option to admin panel, do inform me.

will rework on these options once i'm done with new map mod.
most of the backend stuffs has already been completed since few weeks ago (this includes ping location and pseudo zone). now i just need to work on new map ui using new ui components i recently finished yesterday. these ui components allows me to create custom ui much more faster than before. it has margin and padding support, automatic layout, better rendering performance and systematic ui construction.
i can't give the ETA but all i can say it's getting closer.
supports for ham radios and radios will be added in the future but those two will work in a different way.
one is transmitter and one is receiver.
quick instruction to enable walkie-talkies feature:
1. disable 'Vanilla - Show Player Names'
2. set display mode to 'multiplayer'
3. enable 'faction - require walkie-talkie'.
having it enabled will only cause confusion especially having two name displays around each player's indicator.
Zone is not supported yet. So far it works by checking player's safety mode. Zone feature will be added in the upcoming major update which will be released as another mod.

Both. You can change the settings to display on single map.
For anyone wondering, I'm releasing next major update as a new mod because it use separate map system to deal with bunch of limitations caused by vanilla system. This mod can't be improved further with the lack of tools and compatibility issues. Therefore, it will be integrated into the new mod for better support.
I can't give an ETA for major update since it's mainly delayed by framework update and custom UI components.
There's also new options which allows you to display symbols on minimap.
I would like to inform you guys that I'm increasing this mod's scale into something bigger. So, the name will be changed into 'Improved Map System' or something similar in the future. If any of you still remember the time when I changed this mod's name, I can ensure that there's bunch of features will be added based on the title.
Ping feature will be delayed bit further.
And new major update will start using independent system so that less mod conflicts can happen. Especially on map symbols, note and stuffs for anything that is added by the system.
Since I'll be busy with the new major update, please report me if you encountered any bugs.
New update has been released to fix that issue. I've tested it on windows dedicated server 41.76 and it works fine with after testing some options.
I can't guarantee that it's flawless because the rendering code still based on 'v0.10.2'. That version contains feature that prevents me from getting any error logs. Therefore, previous release are meant to convert that feature into an option plus fixing 'player vs player' bug.
Please disable the 'abort on error' option if anyone wants to produce some error logs for me to see.
This feature prevents server from producing more errors when radar rendering process encountered an error. Which means that the minimap will not display anything if error has occured.
By doing this, you can combine it with vanilla options to use vanilla radar while waiting for bug fix.
Server owners can disable this option to force server to produce errors for bug report.
And, please get latest simplify mod update. I recently noticed that the error was caused by that mod instead.
I apologize for not noticing this lot sooner.
If there's still an error, please search for these two lines "Simplify Mod Require Error" or "Simplify Mod Require: Missing file". It should point out the actual cause of the error if there's one. Make sure to inform if you are using which OS and is it the game or server.
I'll revert the changes again if this update failed to fix the bug.
Only players with safetysystem disabled (pvp mode - on) can see each other when you use that option. You might want to wait bit longer to test it since the new update seems to be broken on linux server.
And, I've reverted the changes to old stable version. So, you guys wouldn't get stuck while waiting for me to work on potential fix for new version's issue. Hopefully I can tackle this linux specific issue by using custom mod loader or get the missing error i needed.
Can you elaborate further on pvp safezones? Do you mean radar to display only pvpers inside certain area? If so, I can add that after I fix the current error.

I've added the feature you requested. It's available 'Display Players' option -> 'Player VS Player'.
At the moment, the 'Player VS Player' works by letting players with safetysystem disabled see each other.
Inform me if you need player with safetysystem disabled to be displayed to players with safetysystem enabled.
The mod overhaul made it simple for me to add complex radar feature.
If you've updated utility mod to recent overhaul update last week, please get the latest update.
I've patched the client sided security issue introduced by the update.
Your mod is very cool! But my community thought it would be even better, if there was an option to show ONLY players who have the SafetySystem disabled.
Similar to the Sea Of Thieves map system, where players seeking PVP appear globally on the map.
