Hey Rocks, if you go to Steamapps/workshop/Content/4000, then search via item ID(found when clicking on share button, its the end of the URL with the numbers), you can find the addon directly(Some will load into Garry's Mod/Garrymod/addons instead so make sure to check there as well). If you then open the Gmod bin folder, you can drag the .gma file into the file called Gmad, and open it up. This will allow you to gain access to the .bsp file no rar files needed.

Because many mappers pack materials models and sounds into the bsp.

That's why it usually says NO CONTEND NEEDED in the workshop.

Yes I have seen several new maps in the Gmod workshop and have written to several of them.

Many Gmod maps work on my HL2 server.
Therefore I would like to renew my maplist.
