Hey thank you so much for this mod! Strangely even with the Animation Overhaul patch every Mining Facility (even those from Gen-Mod - only the native "ores" not uranium or tin) still tell 0% despite being literally placing next to the node.

Far as I know it should be. Unless they did some weird thing like replacing the base mining functionalities.

Alright, patch added to description. Actually makes a lot of sense why that one was conflicting. As the mod makes a copy of the ore mining functionality so that it can have a different animation between mining the raw ore with a pickaxe and using a drill. The copy was still using the resources quality, so it wasn't working with this mod.

tbh if you can fix this and make a patch for that animation mod this resource mode will become very popular cause everyone uses this animation overhaul

so i had to go to work, and the actual hunting took a couple hours, but weirdly its this mod that doesn't agree with yours, the mine works as you intend till you add this mod then it displays the 0% and fails to place

You know, it entirely could be honestly. If it is, moving this one to the bottom would in theory fix it.

You'd be surprised at the weird things some people put in mods, once saw a furniture mod that made weather edits to certain regions. :P

And yeah, would be good to know what mod it is. Could probably whip up a simple patch for them to work together if I knew which one it was.

so i imported that save into a vanilla kenshi game (i made a copy) and it seems your right, but whats really concerning is i dont have any other mods that should even touch drills O.o sorry my good sir. ill get back to you though when i figure out which mod it is. a lot of other 100% resource mods have the same issues im having so maybe i can tell ya which common mod is causing issues as your not the only author whose resource mod is conflicting with something

if i remove your mod it will go to 20% as its supposed to be in vanilla, but if i add your mod and import the same save it goes to 0% again everywhere in the world

So where exactly are you trying to place it? On the world map I mean. It's not impossible that all my tests were simply in regions it works fine in.

But it really feels like you probably have a mod tweaking the functionality of iron mines, which may be conflicting. Because I can place them all just fine, and they don't even have a % tracker anymore when placing.

oh shidan its the same building i just learned the copper ore drill mod simply renames it to iron ore drill to separate it from the copper drill but its the T1 drill that doesnt seem to work even after i removed the copper drill mod

Right, I believe it's a building you have, but it's simply not vanilla. There is nothing with that name in vanilla. And since it's not vanilla, it won't necessarily work with the tweak.

In vanilla they are all just called "Ore Drill" though when selected. Ore Drill, Ore Drill II, and Ore Drill III (Automated). And all three can be placed just fine on my end with no other mods on.

There isn't a building named "Iron Ore Drill" in vanilla however. Which makes me think that perhaps it's being added by that copper drill mod? Or some other mod.

the iron ore drill i placed before adding this mod is at 77% but if i try to place the same type of drill after installing this mod its stuck at 0%

Its listed as Ore Mine in the build menu, but its full name when selected is:

Iron Ore Drill

A Semi-automated mining system for hauling raw iron out of the ground.

Type: Building shell

its efficiency is 125% but the ground resource is 0% and thus wont allow me to place the drill

i have a classic copper ore drill mod that works fine and the stone mines are fine but the manuel ore drill is at 0% everywhere (i shouldnt have a mod conflict nothing else other than an added ore drill mod should effect it :/)

What's the exact name of the object not working? Because on my end the only ones I see are fine.

Could also be a mod conflict, if another mod is adding a new drill.

iron ore drill is perm set to 0% everywhere
