We had a few small issues with this mod. We can see whatever pirates/seperatists say on the other side of the map due to no radio limit. We also noticed our local chat seems to be readable everywhere on the map making radios only useful for hearing audio for crewmembers not using a mic.

Yeah atm I appreciate this mod because folks with mics are quite audible at a distance whilst players typing have their messages jammed a bit and I think that's a bit irritating. Appreciate the mod and I suppose I'm a filthy casual for doing so lmao.

there was tho, im sure of it.
the reason i liked it was due to previous version of Barotrauma, with Barotraumatic changing of headset range it made so voice had longer range.
this does not seem to be the case anymore, as text chat unscrambled range and voice range appears to be the same now, as it should be.

You don't fix anything, because nothing was ever broken. You're just removing the mechanics.

It sounds like you think it's some sort of bug, which is actually a fully functioning disturbance mechanic. Does anyone think it has no place in the game? Only the casuals do.

Is this mod still needed? Just asking heard devs added some kind of voice scrabler, simmilar to how text works.

Hopefully you'll have time soon, since this makes common sense to work. If voice works over radio why not text? Devs just discriminating non-mic users smh.
