@o_O-r . somehow the snow doesnt spawn on the maps i play even tho it should cuz their just campaign maps, how do i fix it

nice, all that i think needs to be done now is just getting the snowfall to work on vheicles

@noob get rekt The snowonground="true" option must be loaded at the same time as the map in order to work.

The game first loads the map and then all the tools and mods, so you can't use the "snowonground" using other mod/tool cuz the map already loaded.

This MOD "Add Snow" works cuz it remplaces the templates of the game:
If the map uses weather templates, it will use my modify templates that include snowonground="true"
If the map don't use weather templates, "Add Snow" will not work.

I think the only way to make it work in Advanced Weather Menu, it's using the same method as here: Remplacing the game weather templates.

If you copy the data folder of the "Add Snow" MOD and paste it inside the root folder of the "Advanced Weather Menu" MOD, the AWM mod will add snow on maps as here.
And maybe it's possible to delete/edit the snow once the maps loads.

The problem is that the snow will allways be enabled by default and the map loading time will increase. Also it will not work in all maps.

Other ways to add snow to maps would be:

-Using the AddSnow() function, but it only works for scripts inside the game's root folder, so you need to replace the game files.

-Using the functions added for the Teardown Creative Mode, as example, if you copy the creativemode.lua script inside my mod and paste it inside the game folder: Teardown\data\script
the creative mode will have the snow material.
(To access the Teardown creative mode: while playing in the pause menu search the button Creative Mode)

-I tried to use the functions of the creative mode to add snow and I include an option in the "Add Snow" MOD options. It will try to mimic a snowfall effect. (It's a modification of the Teardown snowball.lua and shapemanipulation.lua scripts)

Do you know how to make it so the advanced weather menu snowonground option works? its usually unavailable even on workshop and base maps

can you please make it so that built-in maps can become snowy too

oh also i kinda mean like can u make it so like when u drive the tracks go away cuz they get covered in snow like that on everything

can u add it so you get a tool to put snow on since i want to spawn my cars but they wont have snow on them

All it does is just spawn the Snowy weather, doesn't add snow at all.

Now you can add snow in the "Art Vandals" mod using the optional installation.
The "Optional Installation" will make the campaign and any heists from the Workshop unplayable.

where do i add snow mansion and tillaggaryd?

Ah, thanks. Now it works!

You need to manually replace game files in order to load sandbox maps with snow.
Also with the new teardown update you can edit the mod "artvandals" and add snow in Mansion and Tillaggaryd without needing this mod

The mod doesn't replace any sandbox maps with the heists one.

It makes workshop mods have snow on them for some reason...

actually i have snow versions of every map exept muratori beach

The optional installation loads heists from the campaign with snow and disables the scripts so you can play them in sandbox mode.

Sandbox versions are replaced with these heists:
-Lee Chemicals (Malice in Woonderland)
-Marina (Marina Part 2 Ending) CREDITS/NOT PLAYABLE
-Villa Gordon (Villa Gordon Part 2 Ending) CREDITS/NOT PLAYABLE
-Hollowrock (Droid dismount)
-Evertides (Connecting the dots)
-Frustrum (Truckload of trouble)
-Cullington (The final diversion)

Isla Estocastica and Muratori Beach doesn't have a snow version included in the game so I don't know how to add them

question does it create custom maps or its just the same maps but with snow?

Also, Can it possibly work in Marina. Cause you listed that the sandbox version of Hollowrock, Evertides, Frustrum, Cullington only work in the download update.

You can add three campaings maps with snow but it requires replacing game files and this will make the campaign or any workshop heist unplayable.

Enable it in the mods menu like any other tool.

The image is just to explain in which cases it will work, just enable it and try it on different community maps if snow does not appear on one map probably is not compatible
