@manodolegal I set my maxscale to 3. It might have to do with your monitor scale.

@aspwil I believe this limit exists only for Devil and Angel rooms, and to my knowledge it is a limit of 100. It is pretty hard to reach this limit unless you have many mods that add special rooms.

in your description it says theres a hard limit on how many special rooms can be added by mods.

how does this work? is that per room type? like only so many treasure rooms?

and what is said limit? is there anyway to know if ive reached said limit?

Fixed the Member Card stuff once and for all. Also went ahead and rebalanced some rooms to prevent unfair damage, resource use, or angel fights

Hey there, I ran into a problem with a membership card room that I think was caused by this. On floor 1 of seed XL3C-PS6H I got a membership card and when I went down the ladder, the ladder heading back up was blocked by a rock. I thankfully had a bomb with me but I wanted to let you know so that could be fixed.

I'm still encountering shops with key beggars or slot machines over the member card ladder/trapdoor, this mod is fun but things keep getting in the way of the member card

Does this mod add Member Shops?

Twice in this run I've run into Member Shops where something has spawned on top of the ladder. The first time it was a slot machine which ate some of my coins, but was otherwise fine. However the second time I had to use my last bomb in order to blow up a mushroom that was blocking access to the ladder.

@Aquasheep The Sewing Machine Mod spawns a sewing machine with a percent chance in all shop layouts, so yes it will work

The new shops are implemented in a way that they are put into the original pool of shops, but since vanilla only has a single shop layout for each shop level + Reroll Shops, the chances of encountering a normal shop is very low due to the volume of new layouts. Anyway, none of the shop layouts are missing out on any resources. If a vanilla shop was supposed to spawn with three items and a reroll machine, It will be replaced by a shop with the same resources, but a different layout

i worded that wrong, i meant in the sense of i havent seen a vanilla shop since i installed the mod

How exactly is it replacing your shops? Did you add shops via your own mod?

If you can, can you try to find the room again, but use the debug console and type "debug 5" ?
This will show the room name and determine if it comes from this mod or not

I keep encountering rooms with just 1 offered item and a pound-of-flesh-style pickup surrounded by spikes being offered. It's happened way too often now, wondering if this mod has anything to do with it. Does that even exist in base game?

there's one layout for the boss rush with a bunch of shopkeepers behind some blocks and i almost got softlocked by gurglings spawning behind them. its a sick idea but i was so close to losing an entire run bc of it
