you need to read more history books , the bugging was much later in the war , the germans couldent believe they had gotten so far and hitler thought it was some sort of trap , a certain high commander had ignored orders to stop and pushed on , remember they were all on pespertan , called met these days so they knew they could only sustain for a period of time , france had a huge army and much more and much heavier tanks, it was just the way they used them , tactics , all about tactics

actually we kno what the reason the halt order was now, captured german officers were given nice quarters and living space for a time in bugged rooms, all conversations were recorded. what happened was the still obstinate commanders were stopping things to sort of rebel, hitler to re-assertain power ordered them formally to stay there to show strength and power. basically.
