@spandrel5353 - it would be a big help to all of your mods to add correct tagging for them. None of your new job mods are tagged as "New Job" which would help players spot them! Already popular and helping them be more visible will already help!

It sounds as if you didn't assign it to the new job type (number after "HEALS_...."). So if you're copying a talent from another class, at the very least: (1) Make it a new unique id, (2) make "talentType" the same as that new id, (3) make "jobType" the number of the job you are assigning the talent to (in this case 8800) so that it becomes available as a talent for that class. Any other changes are optional, but those have to be made for it to work.

Okay so I figured at least he fact that I have to change the ID of the ability. Now I dont get the error anymore but the new added abilities won't show up during the leveling screen. You know what could be the problem?

I seem to have some problems. I get the error: SQL error detected in mod sqlite_constraint[19]: Primary key must be unique. I also dont seem to be able to add any talents as they dont appear in the leveling screen (I added talents of existing jobs)

Dellar, by the way, better to copy the folder under a new name, enable that new mod, disable this one, so that your changes are not overwritten! I should've mentioned that first thing.

Unlike scoundrel and arbiter, which were basically just fun, this is one that I think could be a niche in vanilla standard and offer a bit of variety and more strategy in a balanced way. At least that's my plan.

I can tell you that that I moved one of the rep skills to level 8, an 8 attack to 5, as well as tried to balance the buffs in a way to be better coordinated with overlapping classes. In some cases reducing or at least making specific buffs more focused. I did not change any ids so a reskill is not strictly necessary. It had been a while since I played on hard or greater difficulty after unlocking all the stuff, and when I did, I thought maybe I had overdone original a bit. I'm open to suggestions though.

Yep, just make sure they have unique ids. So your additions would start at 8819 for the talent database. Effects themselves can be existing ones. If you want to make new ones, start them at 8819 too (easiest just to make them mirror the talent ID number)

I have a quick question, is it possible to ad new talents by editing and adding new lines to the data.sql file? I would like to add some rifle and maybe pistol talents

It was gone after disabling the max component mod and after playing around with the load order and leaving the game and starting again it resolved itself but it is weird because I never played with the load order of the others mods, just max components

I disabled operative, enabled max, still got the exact same error you did. But I don't understand why operative class would be erased by it. There is literally no overlap.

I installed the extra components mod during an ongoing game. After that my class (operative) disappeared (I got instead a ? sign) and all my skills disappeared too.

I subscribed to that one to take a look at the DB. There are no duplicate ids, don't even mod the same databases. The mod id is for Ship Components Max. Are you sure you don't have the dev's empty slot mod installed? That would conflict with Ship Components Max because he copies that same code to the end of his database.

If they share a database id, I think the one loaded last will be described as conflicting. Seems odd though. This one modifies Job, JobConfig, Talent, and Effect (not ship effect) between 8800 and 8836. I'll take a look, see if maybe I just have a mistake in mine.

Seems like your mod conflicts with the mod Ship Components Max. If I load both I get the error: SQL Error Detected In Mod sqlite_constraint[19]: primary key must be unique mod id#: 2708187758
