event darkness_crisis.10 is a country_event: it needs to be triggered on a country scope. on_late_game_pulse does not have a scope, much like on_yearly_pulse. The way it is now, natural crisis spawn is effectively disabled.

@Crimson Walter: I've tried in the past to make it so that you can ally with the black fleet crisis like I did in the Unicron mod, but I wasn't able to get it to work here for some reason.

@Sgt.Graphouni [RU]: You have to type in "event darkness_crisis.10" for it to work.

@SovereigN7: No, it's separate. The black fleet crisis triggers after the late game starts regardless of any active crisis.

An Idea I had about this mod after playing with the Destiny: The Darkness mod, and making one of my civilizations into Disciples of Darkness... What about such civs being allied with this Crisis?

To be able to bombard, your country_type must be added to the game rule can_orbital_bombard.

Any known conflicts with other mods?
I have had this mod installed since beginning my current run.
I have used the command "event darkness_crisis.10" in 2355 - I got a popup window
However no crisis level events have occurred since.
Does it have checks to see if other crises are occurring before triggering? If yes, that might be it as I have two at the moment. ACOT's Stellarborne/Gates and Giga's the compound.

@force728 alright then there might be a bug because no one destroyed him and he was hostile to me after i joined him.

@CreeperGriff: No, his hostility is set to neutral if you join him so he doesn't attack your worlds. You can still attack him whenever you feel the need to. The offer only appears once. After he is destroyed and returns again, he's hostile to everyone including you.

@CreeperGriff: I actually planned on adding that in since I made it work in the Unicron mod where genocidal empires could ally with him as agents of chaos, but for some reason it didn't work as intended here so I'm still working on that.

I was wondering if this mod has its own tech tree like the one where you can be a disiple of the darkness and if you could side with the darkness if your a deverouring swarm or determined exterminator and such until every othere empire is destroyed.

Hi is possible to increase the power of crisis? (via mod menu or something). I play with a lot of mods and crisis fleet is really too weak to deal with me.

@Dak: No, it's a separate trigger just for this event. It has no relation on what crisis you pick.

So Im also experiencing crashing whenever Im using this mod, but what Ive observed is that it is crashing whenever the Darkness Species pack is also enabled. Once I disabled that and put this mod at the very end of the mod order it seems to be working.

Ill continue to observe if there's any problems arises.

@Speeedyian: That's odd. It doesn't crash for me. The only thing I can think of is to delete the mod in your mod folder and then unsub and resub again. Sometimes steam workshop doesn't upload the mod properly.

I am also having an issue with this mod. It always causes my game to crash as soon as I boot it up when it is enabled. Noticed it when I disabled the mod, which fixes it.

Needs a patch. I had a CTD on launching the game with this enabled, turned it off and the game works
