The new patch has rendered the mod unplayable, the races just don't appear. Any ideas to fix that?

The patch doesn't work perfectly as the machine saurian portrait still requires machine intelligence.

After a few minutes of documentation, I have fixed the mod. Carefully follow the instructions, it is essential that you do everything I did, otherwise it might break:

Step 1 : Remove the species_archetypes folder (it is not needed, as Saurians belong in the vanilla BIOLOGICAL archetype anyway, and MachineSaurians to MACHINE)

Step 2 : Copy and paste this into the "00_saurian_species_classes.txt" file within the "species_classes" folder (make sure you completely replace everything):

Hey, didn't want to send a friend request at random to say this so imma do this here:
I have fixed the saurian and mecha saurian portraits for the new update (the machine age) ((the new system is kinda hell ngl)) and will do the same with the derg one and thought maybe you would want my fix too so you don’t have to figure it out yourself as it is a bit tedious (didn't want the work to go to waste)
if yes, send me a friend requet or something of the sort

Would it be possible to add clothes to some of them? I could see a simple sort of shawl or sleeveless "vest" type thing to be feasible.

Could we have a troodon in the future, or are they too close to the raptors?

@Erockstol Glad you like it! I suppose it's somewhat of an ongoing project in the sense that I have vague ideas of things I think would be fun to make, but I'm also not, like, actively developing it. One week I'll get a sudden flight of fancy to add another dino and then I paint and animate it roughly over the course of a week or two.
I don't have any active plans to add more in the near future, but if I do add another dino I'll probably do Triceratops next. Though I'm also tempted sometimes to re-do Allo, Dilo and Cerato entirely to make them more in line with the raptor in quality.

this mod is friggin awesome, do you consider it finished or do you plan on adding more of anything? I'll be happy either way i get to play dinosaurs

@Konventur Indeed I was having some trouble with this version, so I've reverted it to the previous version.

Just a headsup, I tried to play this multiplayer version today and it isn't lining up our checksums even when its our only active mod. Not sure if it's because of the mods most recent update or not but wanted to let you know just incase.

@BarnacleFilms Pretty much any mod that adds something to the game instead of simply replacing something else changes the checksum and makes it incompatible with Ironman mode.

Why not ironman compatible?

Biology was always a weak point for me in school and it shows lol.

@Rawr'kraine Actually, Dromaeosaurids are members of the Saurischia clade, due to having "lizard hips" However, you are right that the mod is no longer Saurischian only, as Parasaurolophus is a member of the Ornithischia clade!
