The mod works. Just having it replaces the vanilla textures of cars even without activating but it will be overwritten by any texturing mod on the vanilla vehicles.

The mod works fine, if you get regular looking cars put this mod at the BOTTOM of your load order.

Correction, after further testing I've figured it out. The mod maker almost definitely made this and the other mod when the old version of 10 years later was the main version, it only works properly with that one.

So, yeah, if you wanna use this with 10 years later, you will need to use the old version

After extensive testing I can confirm this mod and the other counterpart the uploder has made is broken.

The cars and wrecks textures arent working anymore. Suddenly they just have vanilla textures. No mods that gives cars different textures is used, other than 10 years later cars and wrecks mods.

Having same issue, not too sure what i am doing wrong but, the wreckage's aren't there anymore. Its now just vanilla textures. Got no mods that would overwrite car skins.

Bro, thank you so much for the mod, it's perfect for 10 years later gameplay, however, I would like to give you an idea here. The early gameplay is so good because everything looks like trash, but during late gameplay when you get your house cleaned and organized, you still have your vehicles looks like charcoal and there is no way so far to kind of restore the appearance. So my idea here is, instead of changing the base texture for the vehicles, change the rust texture, this way, not all the vehicles will look like a total waste, but now you will be able to restore them as well!

ive unsubscribed, verified game files, and gone through my mod list to see if there are any texture overrides and im stumped and cant get this mod to work on my local hosted multiplayer server

Works great, it is kinda funny though when seeing some filibusters cars in mint condition, I just think of them as if they were maintained by some car enthusiasts post apocalypse lol,

I also had trouble with the mod today. Went and started a clean server to test it, still nothing. However, unsub and resub fixed it. Make sure you close the game first.

Help textures not working, I unsubbed and resumed, disabled and reenabled nothings working, is there a way to install the mod manually?

This still works for me. For anyone having issues getting the "wrecked" appearances to work, make sure you don't have any other vanilla vehicle texture mods on. I forgot I had the "Vanilla Vehicle Enhancer" mod on along with this one. Turned it off and the wrecked textures from this mod worked fine after. Mod load order didn't help with both of them on, just had to turn the other mod off.

for some reason the mod contaminated water fucks this mods up and the ony way to fix it to unsub to both mods and sub to just this one

I got it working by verifying my game files and restarting.

I can get this mod working, but it is strange. Because it is textures I think it has to be your most recently subscribed mod that changes vehicles. Try unsubbing and resubbing and starting a new game because I can absolutely get this mod working. Once I removed filabuster's and all my other car mods my 10yr later runs are looking fantastic.

unrealistically bad mod, even after removing it the textures on the wheels did not disappear, a complete reinstallation of the game did not help either, I hate it

@Dikke, take note for future need, i had no other textures mod active but the problem was that i had used just one just before yours so some cache file in the game need to be deleted to work again, understood?

@teamson learning code nowadays so i will look into it when i have some free time im not really familiar with coding. this is more for the feel of the 10 years mod because i really disliked that all the cars looked normal

been gone for a while started school this year sorry for not updating guys. life is tough sometimes sad to see that it doesnt always work and that i missed a few. This was for personal use but thanks for 23 316 subscribers didnt expect that many! thanks for the support i probably will look into and and update when i get some free time and when i start playing project zomboid again with my friend we are waiting for the animal update and probably will fix this one for our server and retexture the clean station wagon. i seemed to find it a while ago with a cheat mod but never found the original texture's place. @Butch it was a test skin retexture for more skinny crack look still need to finish it either just school is really taking alot of free time because i started a game development study and i am focusing on my own textures for my game im working on so maybe i will release it when i have some free time and want to mod zomboid again. sorry for the delay..
