timer block 2 has inner magplate switch lock instead of inner magplate unlock. TB 1-21 (drilling start) and TB 22-23 (Drilling stop).

@Helios the terrain doesn't have to be flat, have you tried starting it manually(via the buttons on the mining body itself?
Make sure the inner legs are touching any surface before you start it(they auto lock to surfaces on contact), because they're the ones that keep it steady, which might be what you're missing
This means you can blueprint the whole thing with temporary scaffolding that simply has to be ground down and the legs can unfold.
The timer blocks are a bit of a bitch to sync because there are like 40 of them, but it was quite fun in a way too
