No Im trying to find a Data base editor to fix something in my game without having to abandon my save and was wondering if this would allow me to do so.

@stepina33 I don't know what values you should change, since our DB works properly. I would like to hear if something is broken and should be fixed, so that we can do that in a future update

does this let me edit things? I was talking in a discord and they told me to fix something I needed to download a DB editor and change two values?

@der'post! Wheels are something we did not yet include in the DB. In a future 2023 DB, this will be included, the real brands/models for a lot of wheels. Now they are just the same as the standard DB I believe. So work in progress :)

@kob3 Make sure you followed the steps in the description carefully. In short; delete the original Helmets folder in the PCM folder and move our Helmets to that PCM folder. Make sure there is no Helmet folder anymore in the workshop folder

i added everything the right way but my riders doesn't have helmets?

@timvanmandy @b14v3r Definitely has something to do with the latest patch. I assume that a temporary solution might be to not copy the Gui file after a clean installation. We'll look into this and hopefully come with an update asap when we solved this

I have the same problem.
after cutting the additional files into the specific folder i cant read anything anymore
its like code language now.
problem for me is that I cut them so now im not able to play.. untill it's fixed.

maybe it has something to do with the latest pcm patch?

Is it only me? Everything worked fine, but since last update (1.0.6) my language in game was gone. You can't read anything in game. Deleted everything. Reinstalled game and workshop. Did the helmets again (is OK), but when i copy the additional files (workshop) and paste it in the other folder (common - pcm) ==> that gives the error. When i dont copy these files everything OK. Am i missing something here? Does it affect my game when i did not move the GUI and database folder?

Is Footon-Servetto available in career as an option in making own team? :)

@☆KevRockZ☆ I don't think there is, but you could easily make one yourself. It should be a .tga file and 128x128 pixels (don't forget to cut out a circle). You could make an in-game screenshot or something, but as said, this is a good idea to look into for us to include in the future

@☆KevRockZ☆ Yes that's possible, their is a default.png file in Gui/cyclist_photo that you could change. We'll also keep this in mind for a future update if we come across a better picture to use

I love this DB guys, great work. Only 1 question: Do you think you could change the default rider picture of youth/talent riders? Cause i dont like the style and resolution. I would also do it myself but i dont know how. :)

in your database, where can i set, that my team going for mountain points automatical? alway is leader and sprint going for it / defending

@duestere Legende So since it downloaded, are you able to select our DB ingame? If so, can you check if Steam downloads it in the correct folder? If all names of Quickstep f.e. are correct, the DB is probably working fine

so , after loooooong download.. install your steps.. and how can i see that this db works? cant not really see 80 more teams by game start..

@duestere Legend This is the "Plus" pack, with around 14GB of equipment. If you want a lighter version of this DB, you can subscribe to the 'normal' PCM.daily DB

@b13v3r I'm sorry for the confusion, the Local.cdb file is in the folder Database (it's the only file that's in there)

@ak.kaas94 If you have subscribed to the DB, it should be there. Did you see it downloaded it? If so, it might be the case that your workshop items are saved on another location (f.e. on your D drive)

@kazim.rocks12 If you have subscribed and moved the Database and Gui folder (and the stuff for equipment as described), everything should work. Maybe a clean install will do?

@Cucking_Funt The teams have to be in the cdb file. There are a few tables you have to edit so that the game "recognizes" your sponsor

If i start a new game with a custom team, there are a lot of custom teams which are in the folder (jerseys) but they dont appear in the game itself...

For example, in this case i can't select the KBC to start a new custom game.
With a different database however i CAN find the team...

Am I doing something wrong?

confirmed, I have deleted the 'helmets' folder from the workshop once copied to the root folder of the game and everything is going perfect and with full shadows, thanks @Woeste_Willem123 :)

@Personal Jesus I accidentally deleted your comment, but if your frames are dissappearing, you have to make sure that the original Frames folder is in the PCM folder and our Frames folder is in the workshop folder. In other words, if you install PCM and subscribe to our workshop from scratch, you have to make sure you don't touch the Frames folders; only the Helmets folder should be moved

@Personal Jesus @Manu I see that I wrote it down the wrong way by saying that you should copy/paste, instead of cut/paste. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll change that immediately!

@Personal Jesus @Manu Weird, since it does work for me. So you made sure that you deleted (or moved/renamed) the original Helmets folder and moved our Helmets folder over there? You also have to make sure that you don't keep it in the workshop folder; it only works if there is no Helmets folder in our workshop folder. At least, that's what I figured out. I don't know why it works for me, since this was the case for Frames. Moreover, when I moved the Frames folder too, all the frames dissappeared. So it seems like a very odd glitch/bug by Cyanide how the workshop folder works with Equipments.

I've tried everything it says in the description at, the only way to get this to work is to set the shadows to 'none' in the graphics menu...

After repacking helmets into PCM22 folder, my helmets are still dissappearing...is there some fix, pls? Thanks :)

WE FOUND A SOLUTION TO THE HELMET DISSAPPEARING PROBLEM! Very important: put the Equipments folder from our workshopfolder to the original PCM22 folder. I'll leave a detailed instruction in the description above. Don't ask me why this is the solution; somehow some files don't work well when they are in our workshop folder; even the original files didn't work when I put them in there.

@kovman We use all stages from our PCM 2021 DB, and these are mostly (if not all) made by other people then us. This would maybe be a point of attention in the future, thanks for pointing it out. About the helmets; I'm pretty sure the .nif file is the issue, which is impossible to edit (at least for me), so we have to wait until someone comes with a new file that works. I will also look if the default files from the game will work, which I'm realizing now when I'm writing this. For now though; as said, if you turn off your shadows in the settings, this will not happen. This is clearly not ideal, but for now a temporarily solution.

@Revoz We already found out about this problem, and also tried to solve it. It is very hard however to figure out the problem with our DB though, since this column is always empty, and gets filled in with (what seems random) countries. This works fine for the default DB, but not for our DB. I think that another table is holding information about this random assignment, and since I could not find which one, it remains a difficult problem to solve. The only other solution would be to manually assign countries to each scout of the DB (which would be a huge effort), and even then, I don't know if the data gets overwritten when you start a new career.
