The 211820 folder is for Starbound. Each mod will have its own folder within 211820 named with the Steam workshop mod ID, which can be found in the url of the mod on the workshop page, as the mods' directories can be found within Starbound's mod info menu from the main menu in-game. Just type the mod ID from the url into the file explorer search bar in 211820 folder.
What I do is copy the "contents.pak" file and paste it in the mods folder and rename it to "WhateverNameHere.pak"
Once done you can unsubscribe from the mod in Steam as you now have the .pak file you can just drop in your mods folder.

Is there a DRM free version of this available? As I'd like to have it stand alone from steam (also the fact that I don't know where steam stores all these subscribed mods to)

My guess is it was the Alpha DNA mod, which doubles the rate at which Novakid lose hunger bar, which was likely overwriting the usual block of losing hunger from the well fed buff. There is a good chance the Alpha DNA creator just didn't optimize it and I may want to alert him of this issue for those that don't choose to use this mod. Still, thanks to your efforts, this mod is now a *great* quick fix for whatever was causing my hunger loss with well fed problem. Cheers!

Ah, I do apologize. This is likely due to the fact that this mod does technically add something, if even just a replacement to the original buff. This is made to ensure that it works with anything that uses the standard well fed buff, so it should also include modded foods. I'll update the description accordingly.

Alright, I have changed the mod priority, please try it now. I don't want to mess too much with the priority, since it might mess up other things with mod load order.

But it could be a mod incompatibility with another mod modifying the well fed buff.

Well, looking through, you shouldn't actually lose hunger with the well fed buff, with either the vanilla buff or this one. This means that another mod is altering the well fed buff, and overwriting this mod. I will see what I can do for it.

and yes that would mean this problem has been occuring with vanilla foods and so far I haven't even tried it with modded foods but I assume the same result would occur

everything so far has been vanilla, I actually haven't eaten any modded foods yet. in my current survival run I subsist almost entirely off of pearlpea risotto and corn cobs because of my rapid food consumption and how easy these two vanilla foods are to mass produce. many of the modded foods I have only added because I have a friend who likes cooking and I thought he might like to delve into the crafting trees one day if we play together, however everything I am currently using and eating has been vanilla food

OK, so I see you have a lot of mods adding foods to the game. Are you eating vanilla foods when this occurs, or modded ones? Or does it do the same with both?

yeah so um, it still isn't working and I don't know why. now the buff is still there and I can't eat. The reason I need this mod to work so bad is I main novakid and use alpha dna, meaning the well fed buff can actually be fatal for me, because alpha novakid DNA makes them starve way faster. by the time the buff wears off I could be almost out of hunger sometimes.
