The hold position is pretty uncomfortable looking, especially with Querentin’s L4D1 survivor hands overhaul. I recommend using the hand position maybe from the M16 or the AK

could there be a separate version of this that only changes the equip animation? the TLS version feels out of place imho

Also, is the reload longer than the default? I'd recommend making it match the original's timing

Great job but the shoot animation gets way too close to the camera. The default one would be way better

I love elements of yours like the draw and the reload animation, but some stuff looks a little janky, and the position is a bit in the face.

Just a suggestion, a lot of people are enjoying it as is it anyway it seems!

Valve did kind of disappoint me by simply porting the Left 4 Dead 1 anims without even properly rigging them, causing the spinning wrist glitch. ngl, I do like the charging handle animation as well.

It will be perfect if you can make reload animation more smoother

nah im just kidding, on all of Slightly Adjusted Guns, the first line of text will always lead to an alternate version with the default running animation, hope this helps

I've actually tried using the original HR firing, and I've also tried the Military Sniper's firing and surprisingly both went back further than the current animation, so i just decided to keep the current one (didnt tone back recoil because i felt like it was more in style this way)

The magazine however though, I actually used to have the M16's/Military Rifles magazine hand grab gesture to grab the clip, but I later find it to be too awkward and weird so I just resorted to keeping the animation as close to original SSG-08 version as possible

I feel like the firing animation could have less recoil to it, it also looks like you barely touch the magazine when taking it out and when cocking the rifle it looks like it's barely even gripped onto. Otherwise it's a pretty good attempt at making an anim set for the hunting rifle.
