What about corn field?

Is it possible for you to make a version which requires exploration before being able to see everything on the map? Is it possible for you to make a creative mode version?

ziwolf93 It ragdolls?! lol I never had that issue myself ... No idea what could be causing it, as the code used shouldn't have any effect on physics.

Just a heads up for current version users, the mod still works great, however %90 of the time you rag doll you have to exit and re-enter your world to stand up. Personally, that little quirk isnt stopping me from using this mod.

@Cgood11 Thanks for letting me know! I haven't messed with this mod in a while, and I would really like to make it into a regular mod instead...just have to figure out all the details lol. It seems I looked into adding oil ponds once upon a time but I didn't see a way to do it. I'll look into it again tho when time provides. I'm really good at bogging myself down with too many projects at once lol

okay so the mod version breaks when you die and it update the area around you every time you die or reload the map or something

right so when i die the mod version stops recording new chunks when i have it installed on a custom game world

also do you think when you updater or mess with the mod next time
that you can add oil ponds on the map?

@Rybson, You can do that with the file mod version (linked above) but at this time I'm not sure how to make a normal mod for it, tho lately I had an idea that may work. I have some free time coming up and I'll look into it then.

Yes there's a file mod version of the Map Mod if that's what you mean and it may work if installed correctly. There's a link in the description that will take you to my file mods guide, where you can get the download and install instructions :)

@Jonas At this time I'm not sure exactly how, as not everything seems to be supported yet. One problem I see is adding custom icons, which if I modify the icons file in SM, it messes with other mod's icons (what may look like concrete is actually wood, or something of the like). Since the map mod doesn't have any icons, it works fine here.

@luckluck Yes and I tried that one as well, it did nothing I'm afraid. I think some of it is possibly hard coded. Perhaps someday they will add a proper map to the game.

i not good at coding but when i was playing around i saw they had a tage for a "biome with a road to the side"

@e604wood I cannot seem to find a way to add roads. The devs made tags for biomes and water but it seems they left roads out. Maybe someday the devs will add a proper map into the game...
