I love this hanging tarp as room divider, just bad, that there arent diagonal ones.

They use the same skins as armor blocks so it should be about the same.

Do the tarps hide grids below it? So that a camouflaged tarp is visible worse than a camouflaged armor block?

As mentioned in the description, I'm not at all against it. It's just that my focus is currently elsewhere. :-)

They'd make a great addition for the aesthetics of just starting out and you put up a lean-to off of your drop pod or even just stop your rover exploration for the night and "camp".

Also, one of the shelters I taught my aircrew to make was a plow-point. Super easy to make with a poncho, 3 stakes, and some cordage. It would be awesome to see you add that shape to the profiles for that true "survival" aesthetic.

Could you make physical banners on poles and flags not just holograms or lcds, would be cool to have older style flags banners and such for throne rooms or on ships

I wonder if it would be possible to make a variant of these blocks that function as a solar panel? I was looking at the images and got the idea of using them to make a solar-sailer type of ship. Personally I feel the game could use some solar panel variants! 😀

+1 for the Small Grid Versions :) please i have just started with the small staic grid mod. my challenge is no large grid at all and no personal combat, i gotta use the AI enabled robots :) as defence. working nice up till now, but would like the tarps so i can have areas outside, under cover. Also running the True Line of Sight Mod (WIP)

Super good mod, so many overlook the importance of decorative blocks.

Quick thought: would it be possible to have the hanging tarp/banner be like an LCD that doesn't look like one? Like, keep the model the same, but allow screen content to show on it? Would be a bit weird for anything where the display changes, but otherwise you could have text on the banners, or even the 'Faction Icon' script which I think would be real cool. There's at least precedent for a screen that doesn't have the full black background, in the Transparent LCD block.

Yes, unfortunately that's hard to avoid while still having enough droop on the cloth to make it look right.

There won't be a mod.io version because xbox has specific bugs that I cannot test for or easily fix. It takes too much time to support and I'd rather spend that time on new mods.

These tarps are awesome! I've never seen any SE mod offering blocks of this type. I love the attention to detail like the metallic cables on the tarp edges. The cargo nets CAST NET SHADOWS..! Well, kind of -- at medium graphics setting the shadow bounces between solid and net. It is probably visually more stable on higher graphics settings.

It's a really nice bonus that all your mods are reliable and error-free. So many other mods I want to enjoy cause a few errors that make my game incrementally more unstable.

I bet this will go great with the homestead block mod (or whatever it's called, with wooden building blocks for houses and cabins) -- the thought just occurred to me.

I love this so much, Ive been making tarps using panels for a while now, but with actual tarps the civilization Im making will be taking to the next level.
