Robot, did you maybe only do "?godmode" ? It is a bit confusing, but when sitting in a chair, do "?godmode true" to set the vehicle you are sitting in to be in godmode. Note that any detached parts from the currently manned vehicle (including pieces connected by hardpoints, magnets or connectors) do not inherit the setting. Also if used in Multiplayer, you need to have administrator to use that command (using "?add_admin peer").
