@HomeSlicer I decided to just make that option for you thinking it wouldn't take much time but I got a little carried away. I posted a new mod that does what you want and more.

any chance of a sound only version? blues my favourite colour so i kinda like the blue crowbar and would wanna swap between colours every so often but i was the sound

@BOT [Mr. Krabs] Thank you! I'd love to make some more HL themed stuff like a full suit but I'd have to design an entire 3 model which is an order of magnitude more difficult than a simple reskin like this mod. (I'm also not an artist lol)

Beautiful. I would love to see an HEV suit added also. Not functional cause it would be OP but even just a top, bottom, and gloves.

@Winterbloom I just checked it out and everything still works for me. I would like to know what could be causing this, maybe it could affect others as well.
Are you using any other mods that could be relevant ?
Could you test if this mod works when it's the only active mod ?
