Is there a way to set a cooldown for every time anyone uses it? i have to not only CHOOSE who to set a cooldown for, but i have to set it every time that i want them to have a cooldown, isnt there an automatic cooldown? people will just bind it and undo it when they want to kill.

I have been running this addon on my server for months now. However, I recently had to disable it because it was breaking some chat commands with ulx such as mute and gimp.

By default you can use the chat commands "!tgod" or "/tgod" to toggle god
If you want to do it through developer console, by default you can type "tgod_god" in there to toggle god

In the most recent update, in the script I added a variable named

toggleGodCorrectCommand = true

on line 10 (at time of comment)

Change it to false to remove that pesky message.
Please report any more glitches or add me if you need further assistance

When I type ... It says "Did you mean tgod?" It's annoying, can you change that, or tell me where to do it so I can do it myself?

the Headshot Explody mod makes ragdolls dissapear I had ragdolls dissapear when I had the Headshot Explody mod enabled and after I uninstalled it there was no more dissapearing ragdolls

Most shouldn't though because of how basic this mod is.

I don't play gmod much anymore and this mod hasn't had much compatibility testing so some mods may conflict :(

If you have the Headshot Explody mod enabled that might be the cause.

@GS1029 There is no function to remove ragdolls in this addon and I have never expirianced that. It is most likley another addon you have installed.

Everytime it reminds me it removes all ragdolls.
So i uninstalled it and it didnt remind me but my ragdolls keep dissapearing.
Need some advice :/

Can't you just make it a console command?

You have to extract the addon using gmad
Go into togglegod/lua/autorun/server/togglegod.lua
You can edit this file with any text editor

on line 7 change
local toggleGodAdvertChange = false

to
local toggleGodAdvertChange = true

Added in the most recent update, sorry for long response time, got a new pc and haven't played gmod in a while.

The "Toggle God Advert" function is now in but disabled by default.
You can enable it by editing the config I made. The config can be reached by extracting the addon.

Yep there are multiple ways of doing this :3
There should be an advertisement in the chat every (5?) minutes reminding you, but the chat commands are
"!tgod", "/tgod", "!togglegod", "/togglegod"

Any of those in your chat will do. There is also the tgod_god console command.

As for actually plain godding yourself, you can do that using an admining addon like ulx or FAdmin. I am thinking about releasing an admin addon, but it has been done so much that I might not bother.

I have a suggestion and a question. So, how do you toggle god mode? Is it a command or do you type it in in the chat bar or what? Also, you should add options, like if you were making a server and you wanted to make god mode possible for yourself, but you still wanted to deal damage, then you can just go to options and change it.

I have been talking to Aaron and to clear things up, this allows INDIVIDUALS to god and disable pvp.

It allows users in a server to god themselfs, but when they are godded they do 0 damage.

This creates a toggleable pvp effect.
