Alright it's fixed now. What happened was I was confused about some of my code and thought it wasn't needed when it really was needed. Adding back that code fixed the issue.

Wait actually I got an error when loading a bigger modpack. I'll look into this.

- Merchant now sells ItemID.BeeHeadgear instead of ItemID.BeeGreaves when you defeat Skeletron.
- Merchant no longer sells ItemID.MoltenHamaxe for axes as he already sells it for hammers

Love this mod. Just wanted to mention that when you reach the point in progression where the merchant offers the bee armor set, he offers the bee greaves twice and no helmet. He will also offer the molten hamaxe twice. I will keep an eye out for other similar things.

To unlock the metal detector you need to beat the wall of flesh. The metal detector can then be found in the shop titled Informational in the Goblin Tinkerer.

what do you need to do to unlock the metal detector

Just a thought: the Goblin Tinkerer's little shop changer bar should close/hide when you're reforging gear, because some other mods add their own UI for the reforge menu, and you aren't technically viewing his shop anyway

In my opinion, it would be nice to have an option to toggle the Magic Storage items in the store. I think they are a tiny bit too easy to obtain that way so it'd be nice to be able to disable them manually in the mod settings. :)

Disable the "MerchantDialog" setting in the config and that should go away.

NPCs seem to always say "defeat more bosses to unlock new gear" instead of their usual dialogue, is that a bug?

The mod does not touch the vanilla inventories of merchants but rather adds its own separate inventories so the mod should be fully compatible with other mods.

Interesting mod! Hope it will play well with other mods that change NPC merchant inventories.

The issue has been resolved

There is a bug where cycling shops will not clear the items from the last shop. I am trying to figure out how to fix this right now.

Next time I play Terraria I'll be playing with this mod and seeing what I can change to make it more balanced or adding things I've missed.

Please note that this mod has only been tested on tModLoader v2022.9.47.61 (Terraria v1.4.3.6) which is the current stable tModLoader branch.

This mod may not work on Terraria v1.4.4.x.

I will update this mod to v1.4.4.x when it becomes the new stable branch.

It has happened a few times with different items, I have to empty my whole inventory to look at the shops and it doesn't always work

I found an issue where the cycle shop only goes to 1 option and gets stuck on that option and doesn't cycle any further, it was working fine then changed in the middle of gameplay, maybe something to do with the items I attained?

Yeah that's a known issue

Known Issue: Sometimes mod shop UI appears when you're not even interacting with a merchant NPC.
