bf1 mods, cool

I really love this mod. The original BAR M1918 is my favorite gun of all time! There shouldn't be a +1 round on the full reload, though. The BAR's an open-bolt.

I don't actually know how/ if its possible to change firing modes in TFA but this one doesn't have multiple firing modes since the M1918 pattern didn't have that functionality, it was safe semi auto to my knowledge. I could make it come with a seperate swep that fires at the slower rate but toggling between them is anachronistic and I don't know how to code it that way.

I don't know if you take requests but would you ever make a slow firing mode for this?

Yeah I tend to never touch the third person position of the model though I'm surprised it's wrong considering it uses the same position as the DOI SWEP, meaning the DOI SWEP is also wrong lol

it depends if they're faithful enough, like I see no reason to make the steyr 1911 since it shouldn't be magazine fed but instead fed by stripper clips, meaning the battlefield 1 model is better. There is an STG45 skin for the STG44, the C93 luger, etc. So yes, but only on weapons that are new to the gmod workshop and more or less faithful to their actual appearances.

will you one day make the cod ww2 variant guns? (example : the M1912 steyr variant of cod ww2 1911 or the c-93 variants of the luger)

I can't rip animations from the game unfortunately but I'll be seeking out weapons from BF1 that aren't in Gmod and giving them the reanimation treatment I gave this weapon. Provided there is a good animation set to use, of course. Some weapons reload a bit too strangely but I'm definitely going to make more.
