Im guessing whenever CE is brought up to being 1.6 compatible
you need to delete old versions of CE since its a common issue with CE as it cannot load the patches properly(even if its not active in the game list)
Til then I can recommend Kripto&Augie's mod (I'ts kinda bloaty, use cherrypicker)

Please, I just want to say, I added this mod and load saved game. I had Lee-Enfield (using ammo .303 British cartridge) and these guns got replaced after activating this mod by Mosin. So after that I couldn't use them because ammo is different (Mosin uses 7.62×54mmR).
Reason why I did this was I discover during play there is no gun in basic CE and CE guns using .338 Lapua Magnum. This mod adds SV-98 using this caliber. But that swap of guns in existing save is now crucial as my colony is just 2 people on beginning of the journey.
Also Gunsmithing research got duplicated. Second doesn't bring anything and all is as it should be in first one. Just esthetical thing. Are you aware of these two things and is there any possibility to correct these issues, please?
I've planned a larger update but no idea whn ill have time to get to it.
Are those WIPs or did I mess something up with my load order to not have them show up?
They look amazing by the way.
one thing though, the preview picture says that the vepr is meant to use mosin ammo, but in-game it seems to use 7.62 nato. is that intentional?
