I used the drop pod to slam my friend into a pirate ship, sinking it and opening a hole to board through. Fun.
https://prnt.sc/WrbKdAMKtCsq
I have made the change to have lockers refill oxygen. I can see how this can be annoying in the long run. So enjoy!!!
Just tested the drop pod on my side to see if it was still working after the small update;
Getting in and out of the pod both in the ship or underwater had no issue for me. Not to jump to conclusions, but it could be possible that a mod is messing with the games' systems and causing some lag between the player and the drop pod. If you could get me more info I would appreciate it.
Is it deployed--out of the ship? If so water could be filling in while the pump is pumping out. So it could create an inbalance of trying to get out but the outside water is pushing you back in. I'll look into it rn.
I cant seem to swim out of the pod. its like the game is holding me in. i have been trying to tweak the pod by extending the ladder as a fix but cant access it in the editor. maybe you could look into it? thank you and great job on the sub
Drop Pod recharges now. It is fixed. The Reactor also automatically came on during my tests but I have seen it not turn on at the same time in previous tests before releasing it. Ill see if I can figure that one out.
The reactor just needs to have the sliders move a bit and then the autoreactor kicks in. I couldn't figure out how to make the reactor turn on with the autoreactor installed, but again all you need to do is move the slider slightly and it turns on.
Looking into the drop pod batteries issue right now.
Thank you for letting me know about these so I can try and figure them out.
Two, in fact.
1. The reactor doesn't work properly as in it doesn't want to start when you start a mission unless you unwire the controller and then wire it back in
2. The drop pod batteries don't charge when the pod is docked
and you can wire them to charge either
That is just by design and on purpose. Personally I feel like it makes the O2 generator pointless if they refill in the locker. However, if you prefer to make the lockers wired, I you should be able to wire the lockers up to the junction boxes. Wiring is all unlocked to the junctions.
The alert is there to let you know if the autoreactor is being overloaded or if there is a fire. Make sure you don't have the undervolt on. Also make sure that you didn't select automated control in the reactor menu because it should do it itself with it off.
I couldn't seem to reproduce the bug. For me no water fills up the command room at start. Ill keep trying tomorrow but at the moment nothing is happening on my side. I would say load it in submarine editor and confirm the hulls are there. Also try reinstalling as I have made a couple updates to fix some smaller things. Thank you for your feedback.
That shouldn't be happening unless either the window is broken or a hull got removed. The window has 5 different pieces: 2 small flat (top and bottom), 2 angled, 1 vertical. Check to make sure they are repaired.
Thank you, hope you enjoy using it!
Thank you! I am glad you like it!
@Chad Mossholder
Haha, I know exactly what you're talking about!
I swear some submarines are the submarine equivelent of discord light mode.
I completely agree, I like the darker theme submarines because it fits the aesthetic more than a insanely bright sub. All in all Realism is a more fun idea to work with for me in this game.
Besides i think that darker submarines fit the games style better.
