this is the ar1, not the ar2 we see in half life 2. also combine grunts are half life: Alyx.... charge pulse wasn't even invented for this yet, although people have made charge pulses for it,it would be a pain in the ass to mod i assume.

isn't the combine grunt from half life alyx? if you are not talking about that i assume you talking about this mod which, i can confirm, its actually the ar1, not the ar2 (the ar1 only being in hla, while the ar2 is in hl2)

Maybe Alyx's pistol with some variations or just one with the burst case thing pressing the default key for fire mode swap (X) we could switch between semi auto and three round burst. Pressing H allows the player-model to pull out a sort of mini resin fabricator the player model which i will now refer to as jimmy, willplace the front end of the gun into the fabricator and the fabricator will activate while jimmy still hold it and with the fabricator it will create the scope the pistol can use in half life Alyx vr. Pressing H after attaching the scope jimmy would just pull off the sight also sorry if this is super specific and sounds like im basically demanding you make it the way im outlining it(which im not) im just trying to create a concept without overly overly complex ideas
