Hyperion, I know I'm a bit late, but it's because it's a passenger bench. You need to access the remote control.

i cant get this to work for some reason. i have all the dlc it says is needed but when i sit on the bench, none of the commands come up on the hud bar

The fact that I need all dlc to even use this makes this a terrible creation. Make some mechs that work in the base game.

imagine a mech a bit like this that could then fold up into a functional spaceship. A bit like a reaper. would be incredible!

im having the same problem none of the controls are even in the hud of the bench

I even took a look at GoodAI... gonna be honest... its a sham of algorithm terms jumbled together and some uni contests so that they can buy their homework... keen skims the line between legal and illegal from my prespective

Jago I can't replicate what you said, it's stable for me. Make sure you don't paste it into the ground and you need to be in experimental mode with scripts enabled

Try holding w to walk up slopes, it's got one thruster to help with that. It's not a very good walker per say, just a fun replica

BA this is awesome! I saw your video in some SE content on youtube a couple days ago, and dang this walker is so cool. Also... I don't know why it's being funky on this latest version of Space Engineers, but the walker is very, bouncy per-say. It also can't walk up hills in any capacity, it just bounces in the air as it strafes sideways down the slope. Awesome design, and will totally tinker with the setup to fine-tune it to walk better. Great work, BlackArmor!
