Between this and the regular looking hats, there is no competition. May if it was pyrovision restricted, even then only if it does not replace a regular looking hat that would get added in otherwise.

Like many others have said, this is pretty gimmicky and isn't the kind of hat we need in TF2 at the moment. However, I do like that it's thematically appropriate as a cosmetic item for TF2's birthday, and the model itself is extremely well done, but we don't need another food related cosmetic that barely fits into loadouts.

Even though I like the idea of a cake top hat, this one isn't it IMO. The execution isn't that great. Still a good model though.

For a gimicky top hat It's probably the most though out with the plate as the brim... but that doesn't really save it from its status.

Not something I would like added to the game with other more fitting items floating around the workshop.

This looks too similar to the candy crown cosmetic - from a distance anyways. Close up it just feels generic, another gimmick top hat for the pile. Once the emotions you get from the gimmick wear off you're left with a hat that doesn't really mesh well with other cosmetics. Neat concept though, I'd love to see more anniversary themed items.
