Yes it was the load order. I had The FSD core mod above IO. Picky picky SE. Working as intended!

It replaces the jump drive with the fsd. Make sure your not in creative, otherwise you will see everything still

Im trying to use this mod, but it doesnt seem to do anything, even with it being the very first in the load order

This mod doesn't remove jump drives from the game or NPCs it only removes it from the build menu. You can still spawn ships in with normal jump drives even. Hope this helps.

Maybe there could be a config file that allows the user to decide whether or not to get rid of the jump drives, because like zaneymoore has said, I would like NPCs to still have the option to use them.

Would it be possible to create a version which doesn't remove jump drives? currently as i understand it it would disable any npc's jump capability
