A variant I would like to see is a ladder that ends in a solid plate, for the top or bottom of a longer ladder. Would something like that be possible?

Any chance you can make a version with just the ladder and walls?
So no platform? That would be amazing to extend the vanilla ladder shaft

@Spazz86 it's not a big problem it's just that after I built it I noticed that an area of my ship didn't have any oxygenafter an accidental venting even if the door was close and the area airtight again.

its not a big deal but loosing hp when you expecte to move around your ship with an open helmet is a chock ^^

I like your mod but just a kick question, why is the top of the ladder air-tight even if it should clarly not be airtight?

From what I have heard about modding, I don't think this is possible, but you are far more brilliant than me at this. What I would love to have is a ladder with a platform that includes an air tight door. This would allow for ladders between decks that seals the decks in case of damage. Is this something you could do?

Please do this for small block!

Good stuff, a side opening version is what I have wanted to see for times when this or the Keen version don't really help.

We already have a ladder without walls in the base game. :)
And you don't have to attach it to a wall.
Just stick it vertically to the floor in the middle of the room (if you like). :)

This is a great variant of an already good block. I agree with Sensational Being. I would love to have one that is just the ladder and the platform, no side or back walls. Would that be possible?

Could this have one more variant without a back wall at all?

@Farinhas , It's both i guess. I liked the new ladder shaft on the new update, i just wanted one without the sides so i made my own it 's a new alternative ladder shaft, it doesn't replace the old one but adds this block to the rest if that's what you're asking.

Is it a replacer or a new, alternative, block?
