and work leave would fit that description but i always heard it called work leave and not vacation

thats weird because when i went to kiddie prison school and we could have some weeks at home i always heard "school holidays" and never "school vacation"
indeed ive literally never heard anyone say the word vacation in real life, only saw it on the internet
so anyway i hate english

Holiday refers to a short period of time that one spends doing leisure activities. Vacation refers to a long period of time that one takes off from school or work.

Thank you for the feedback. I have a problem where i make maps too big or too small. I wanted to make more elevated stuff, but I had no ideas on how to keep it thematic. I do plan on updating the map, most likely will add underground passages.
