i think i confused anima and gauranlen back then (because i have a mod that makes em look very similiar)

for shrines, it works for sure, those also accept my edits
on my gauranlen trees i see 3 radiuses now because they somehow don't really do so x'D
and an anima tree isn't present atm, but 2 years into the new colony it can't take long til i get to try again

so yea i guess you're right, besides my potential confusion
to prevent such mod conflict, could i maybe convince you to include such code for gauranlen trees? so that it's all in 1 mod packed together? a settings function would also be cool, to use individual numbers =)

Perhaps that's a mod clash, did you try messing around with the mod load order to see whether that'd help? Haven't ever personally encountered that issue.

this ain't working, i still have the "surprise extra 2 tiles radius" after planting them and it's still affected by the fence that needs to be where it is.
i f*ing hate tynan for this surprise, it keeps hitting me every couple years.

@ddrake4 I believe if you delete the number entirely it removes the radius. Therefore change
<radius>9.9</radius>
to the following
<radius></radius>

Is there a way to disable the radius? I set it to 0 but it's still a little small. I just want to use my stone in my grav ship :(

I suspect this mod *might* be messing with the phytokin race's ability to create psychic soothes from anima trees. Just tossing the idea out there because the ability isn't working and this is one of two mods that messes with anima trees on my list, the other being Regrowth allowing me to replant them.

@Longman hmm this is kinda op to be able to do that without any cost how about making it so Animus Stones would decerase radius and when all 4 are placed it would dissapear completly this way it wouldnt be so op and you would have gave purpouse to animus stones that are kinda pricey

Fairly easy to update from the looks of it. I updated it to a local setting. Will look how to publish an unnofical version if no one else has done when I am back at home.

@matthewd3911 @Stellar there is a way to adjust the tile radius to your liking as Longman said a couple comments back, just open the mod .xml file, open it in notepad and change the debuff radius from 9.9 to something like 1.9. the same can be done for editing the range for shrines and animus stones.

It'd be nice if there was a slider or something like that in the mod settings so that you could manually change the radius.

I doubt it's "replantable anima", that one AFAIK adds literally a single line of XML. Haven't heard of the other one though. You tried moving this mod around in the loadorder?

I'm not sure that its this mod or not. But I'm getting a weird bug where my anima grass just randomly disappears. It stays at about 15 to 16 and never gets beyond that because one of the grass will wink out of existence at random. Anyone else having this issue? Its not animals, it legit just disappears.

Steam refuses to download this mod for some reason, its gets stuck in a loop of starting and stopping download :(

Mod files for version 1.4 should be in the following directory (directory could differ for you, depending where you've got Steam installed):

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\294100\2812513517\1.4\Patches

File for Anima Tree is called "Stats_Basics_Special.xml" and "Plants_Wild.xml" you want to right click on them and select "Open with" and then choose Notepad.

You want to make changes to "<radius>9.9</radius>" tag. 9.9 is 10 in game and I would HIGHLY recommend to leave the ".9". So if you want to make the radius 5, you ought to change the tag to look like "<radius>4.9</radius>", it's quite simple. You have to make sure the value's the same in both files, "Stats_Basics_Special.xml" and "Plants_Wild.xml".

I should be getting around to making another mod with proper in-game menu but I've been burned out for a few weeks so apologies for that. Regardless, pure XML like this is the safest option as it can't screw up your save.

D'oh, I just realized this is for Royalty not Ideology. I don't have Royalty yet, and it's my first time playing Ideology so forgive my ignorace, that might be the reason for it? I also saw that Regrowth Core messes around with replanting these trees, but I don't think any other mod I have touches them.

btw about to start a new save, so I haven't actually started the game, just trying to sort everything out before I do.

Ok, let me play with it. I have Regrowth Core and Choose Wild Plant spawns loaded so could be a conflict.

@Victor: Let other mod authors know as well if you run into issues with their mods. I haven't played RimWorld for over six months so I've been out of the loop with the new version until kind folk like you reminded me. :D

This one was comical - they had a spelling error sometime in early v.1.3 when this mod was made and fixed it in v.1.4. "Artifical" was changed to "Artificial".
