yeah thats a habit i had, i used to just disconnect large buildings and watch them slowly erode

help, i have been waiting for an entire apartment complex to erode since may 24 2022, i haven't gone outside since then, my ADHD is too powerfull!

some tools like disintegrator gun and melt are good examples

After long last, the API docs have been updated enough to where I can revisit this mod. Vehicles are now immune to eroding, unbreakable items will no longer hog the erode queue, and I also made it slightly slower but not too slow.

I'll probably make a settings page if I ever revisit this so you can tweak whatever you want, but at least this should fix most glaring issues.

seems to affect vehicles upon taking any damage. Any way to exempt vehicles from the eroding entirely?

could it be possible to make an option to have this as a an on and off eroder tool that can be used to disable individual debris erosion?

this literally cant erode indestructible items, and it trying means if you damage enough cars it wont erode anything
personally i use the singularity to delete indestructible items, or physgun to freeze them and make them not erode

Wish I could help more with the coding side of things, I really like this mod. Good luck finding out how to get around whatever the issue is.

Actually, perhaps the alarm cubes aren't the main issue, though it is seen in this video that they won't erode. They do disappear when I look away from them however, as can be seen in this video I took of sandbox in Villa Gordon. It seems that any small enough pieces of debris will delete automatically when looking away from them; some objects though won't disappear when looking away and also won't erode, which leads to the problems.

What I found at Villa Gordon are some bronze colored rods from the beach house. I had to manually delete them with the "Better Delete" mod tool in order for the eroding to continue properly on other objects. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SBtkxRrIxK8

I asked about the built-in tags the engine uses on their Discord, but unfortunately nobody was able to help. I'm not sure what tags I need to look out for in order to prevent indestructible/important items (like alarms) from hogging the erode queue.

If this could erode the little white alarm cubes, then it wouldn't break. I think it gets stuck attempting to erode those things, but it can't, so it doesn't erode anything else.

Also its because its a "Debris" eroder. If you want that kind of thing, get a disintegration mod or the Thanos mod.

Its like that so your game does not go curplunk and crash.

like, its neither sensitive nor fast enough; and it seems to sometimes not even activate, one can have large ruins erode with time (example: disconnecting the lighthouse and making it an actual physgunnable object] and yet small items or other similarly sized objects (example: power tower] dont erode even when fully physgunnable through damage

I cannot stop watching things slowly erode. The only change I would want to see, is the ability to change the speed at which it erodes things, and maybe toggle it without going back to the mod menu. Otherwise, great mod!

i KNOW WHAT, maybe there could be a version where instead of breaking it apart, it pixilates it like the liquefy mod. (Make the game more laggy)
