yes it would, and I may make a option to do that( info for modders by adding a dome effect)

i feel like it would be more immersive if the sky wasn't gray

I'm not forcing you to do anything, just like no one else is forcing you to do something. Please do not take it personally and take it as my personal ASSESSMENT of this mod. I just explained it like that, otherwise you might be offended. The mod is really cool. But to make the first and only mod for darkness, and at the same time, for SOME REASON, delete the cycle of day and night without the possibility of returning it to a simple user - for me this is a cringe.

This is the ONLY mod that replaces this FAKE darkness in the game with REAL darkness. And you dared not make it possible to turn on the day and night cycle? Сringe!

I am testing this gamemod as I am writing this comment. I'll just say, while it is a bit too soon to evaluate it properly, that it will be even better with the new, promised rework of the lighting system from the devs (in a bit less than 4 years, I hope :p)
