Very fun and stylish. Honestly I'm kinda surprised how few Xenoblade characters are in the shop but that just helps this stand out more!

i think it's funny that there's only a single xenoblade rep in the workshop and it's the guy whose first interaction is 30% about a tiny little turtle

This characters class! I normally don't like characters like being able to control two characters at once but Zeke and Pandoria are a strong exception.

I had to remove a lot of JP voicelines for that very reason actually lol. Almost all of them were like, 2-3 times longer than the animation, and just didn't fit at all. So most of his specials just have generic attacking sounds in JP sadly.

Same. Also funny that Zeke's voiceline for ULFSM is so long that it is broken in two for this and put on a random number generator. And even then the endlag of the move is over before Zeke has even finished shouting the attack name.

I am so glad you added voice lines, they add a ton of character and style

This is my favorite character in the workshop by far. His crouching taunt, moveset, and everything is almost all perfect. If i had one request, it might be a "taunt at start of match for voice lines" or something. Otherwise, I think everything is perfect.

The main problem I have with this char is hes too strong. All of his abilities can kill at a low percent especially when swapping to Pandora. Its a unfair advantage on alot of things

Zeke and Pandoria from Xenoblade Chronicles 2 find their way onto the Rivals of Aether Workshop before shulk somehow

If there's any problem that I have with this character, it's that they could potentially be too strong. Don't get me wrong, they could totally be all well and good, but the duo are definitely REALLY strong. Zeke has both a good combo game and great kill options, and the lag behind some of his attacks is outweighed by how huge they are and how versatile his kit is...and then he swaps to Pandoria and sends out either a FANTASTIC projectile (fast, strong, and consistently combos) or a really annoying pressure tool (once that sword gets out, no way to stop iirc). Also Zeke killing you and then setting up the sword could be pretty annoying since there's no way to stop it and it means that he starts every stock at a huge advantage, invincibility be damned.

Overall, though, definitely a 9.5/10.

After playing this character for a bit I've got to say that this is an absolutely fantastic mod. I haven't even played xenoblade but it's pretty obvious how fun and lively the animations are; wouldn't look out of place with the base cast and the fact that it's (seemingly) completely custom is insane. I really like the sound design on the character, too, and the actual gameplay iteslf is lovely; it reminds me of Cloud from the smash bros games, but now with a fun little buddy he can use for zoning/pressure.

@jpeg warrior Yes, when you parry the enemy as Zeke, Pandoria gets the "X" below her, meaning you can't swap to her even within distance.

@neurosis51 There shouldn't be anything that does that? You mean when the person playing Zeke parries someone else, right?

Any reason Pandoria goes into cool down if you parry your opponent? Seems like an oversight.

Is this really the first xenoblade 2 character added to rivals? At least i dont know about any others lol. Very well made character

Not going to be lie, it would be cool if Pandoria herself had a full moveset that you had access to rather than just having Specials. But at the same time I can understand why you didn't do that.

Is there going to be a version of this character where Pandoria is the main with a full zoner moveset and you switch to Zeke to do a powerful melee special?

Excellent work, Picked them up and playing them felt so good to play instantly. Nice animations and unique interpretation of their blade swap. I still have to practice with the d-special cancels in combat. My only suggestion is to have f-strong be able to go off ledges (if you can make it work).

Ngl I'm a little disappointed that Zeke's Bart alt (Embercakes) doesn't give Pandoria Sigurd's color palate from Xenogears. It would've been a cute reference.

@Zigzag Ustrong is actually supposed to kind of be a reference to that move, Overload Thunder Beam.

Love the pixel art so much and playing him is a blast! I have no idea if you are planning on updating/patching anything or if you are moving on to more characters from xenoblade. The only thing I would love for zeke/pandoria to have another special on pandoria. I would move the down-special to parry or something and add the laserbeam art but that is definitely easier said than done. Anyway keep up the great work and can't wait to see what you make next!

Hopefully, somebody can make a Turters buddy to go along with this at some point. Amazing work!

I love this character so much!! Do you plan on making Blade Nia? Or Lora & Jin, or Addam & Mythra? Bc this character is wonderful and I am a huge Xenoblade fan!
