You'll find the essentials in this CFC thread; http://forums.civfanatics.com/threads/user-interface-components.461552/
As for me.. Civ5 is no longer installed on my PC -- sooooo (even though my memory is relatively good at times) i wouldn't recall most important subjects that lead me to create **this** specific UI mod nearly seven years ago.
Good luck nonetheless with your own stuff.
This Z-UI stuff was a $-LOT-$ of custom GFX work indeed. ;)
But, normally... Steam should automatically perform that task for anyone downloading this mod and/or any others.
Unless you'd want some "emergency backups" of everything... then, you'd have to D/L (the civ5mod) again. But doing so, would require you to delete the previous copy straight from the InGame Mod-Browser.
But -- you're absolutely right... the files found in that Z-UI folder are the only versions necessary to change the UI as intended. The extra-Files are also useful if anyone wants to use them. Once moved, they also disappear from the installed MODS resources - of course!
Nevertheless, i will be uploading a (zipped) copy of this whole Mod to the CivFanatics D/L section later this week since some people in the Forums have already asked.
Give it few days... and it will all be there for anyone else also.
Great News... i can happily report that after some extensive testing of compatibility concerns between Z-UI & EUI, nothing seems to be conflicting both in coding stuff & graphics wise!
So go right ahead and install at will. No need to be concerned with anything.
;)
