Where is the protectorate option with the diplomats? Its nowhere to be found even with maxed diplomats.

What is the problem?
Basically the game lasts from 270 to 145, about 130 years, do you also give the same problems?
Anyway, I started a new campaign from scratch (with the previous one I had arrived at 154 BC), since I made some changes relating to the characteristics of the units that can be recruited by the Roman Senate faction, as well as to the traits of the AI of the Roman factions (all of them). Now I'm observing how the AI of the Roman Senate faction and that of Rome behaves. However, I had also noticed a certain immobility of the armies of the two factions of Rome and a certain tendency to empty the settlements of the armies, but at the moment I couldn't identify what the cause of all this is...
While I have the armies of the Roman Empire and I advance slowly in northern Italy, the allied Roman armies gradually empty their provinces of all defense. All these armies of ROME then head to the outskirts of CURRICUM on the other side of the Adriatic Sea ... I had in these scenarios up to 7 complete Roman armies that did not move, immobilized for dozens of turns. They also become invisible to the eyes of the other factions and are never attacked. This same pattern is found in all my aborted games ... this is of course not a criticism but information. and if I am told that I am the only player to have noticed this anomaly ... it is because I am really a "black cat" with this mod

Coincidentally, for the short campaign I indicated (perhaps mistakenly) only the Arverni faction as a victory condition, while for the other factions there are at least 2/3. Could this be the cause of the CTDs when you try to interact with this barbarian faction?
