Hey man, very enjoyable map - rarely see a well-made outdoors map with multiple approach options. Just a heads up: the cliff face on the right leading up to the bunker is traversable and see-through; also you can throw grenades into the bunker over the rocks - I've tested in editor and you can fix this by just putting invisible walls over them :)

One of your best for sure, this one was very enjoyable to play. It's honestly rare to find maps like this that are good. Loved the details and atmosphere, enemy balance was ok exept for some ranger weapons, overall super immersive, quality map. https://youtu.be/38V1ddmb8sE

Loved this so very much. Every single enemy is a proper threat even with fully kitted out troopers I love having to worry about every single angle because my troops can't just tank a few shots. I think this is the first map I've played where enemy equipment is a bigger threat that pure numbers. Its so tense

Similarily to the prodigal son mission, this one ends immediately at start.

@Luckschaden I personally enjoy the CIA play through. The spawn is a little bit problematic. For some reason sometimes doorkickers doesn't trigger the spawn. Happens in one of my other map where reinforcements never show up despite meeting all the conditions.

Huh, second time, the mission ended before the reinforcements spawned as I had killed all on map baddies before arresting the HVT, just as I had prepared to watch the bridge with some guys. Now I'll try the CIA play through! :D

That makes sense. I guess I might have had a guy on or close to the bridge providing overwatch, but I was still slowly clearing the house with all my troopers when they spawned. (I just want to moan about it because I play slowly to begin with, but it's on me for not having anyone watch my six.)

@Luckschaden thank you for the feedback and kind words. Enemies only spawn once you nab the HVT and make a beeline to the bridge and cave area. I will check out the guard post. Got some more neat ideas for my last level planned.

Generally, the map is very well designed and beautiful and has lots of interesting ideas. Very high level polish, too! If I were the devs, I'd hire you to make a campaign :D

Also sorry to read about your GPU! I thought the map played very well. I hadn't seen the sight blockers used like this before. The small 1 person house next to the bridge cannot be entered by rangers, a slightly larger gap would do the trick. In the bushes, enemies can sometimes walk to into a ranger, get melee'd and the knockback pushes them back out of sight range again. Not a big issue IMO.

For a map of this size, having spawns behind the player is brutal, but also on me for being complacent. Another annoyance is that the target likes to run in front of enemies, which makes it very easy for them to get caught in the cross fire. But again, this is a game issue, not a map issue.

Very cool map! Phenomenal even. Makes it feel like a different game of sort. I wish there was a quick save option for a map this long. I also didn't read the description before playing and got surprised by guys the spawned behind what I had cleared, ruining my perfect no pause run after having cleared the house and rescued the target :(

Thanks for making and sharing it! Lots of cool concepts. Reminds me a bit of the CoH campaign.
