Just a warning to everyone, theres been a lot of updates to Snakes Mod Pack since this was last touched so if you do use this, theres a good chance a lot of the new seeds in Snakes pack may not work. If you're happy not being able to grow those particular plants this should still work

@joko Should still work, was using the mod a couple weeks ago without issue and doesn't look like Snake's modpack has had any updates that should effect this. If there are any issues, let me know though

shouldnt need to worry about load order as the required mods are set as dependencies, so this will always be loaded after them

Please make sure you give a detailed description of the issue, as well as steps to repro the issue.
I will also need your full modlist.

If these steps aren't followed then I will most likely not check the issue, as I'd rather not have to take stabs in the dark trying to figure something out that might not even be an issue, or a result of another mod being incompatible.

I've recently started playing zomboid again and I've been playing with LGR, GF and this patch without any issues in terms of gameplay, though I have noticed two error messages that appear at game load and that's it.

If I get the time (and motivation) I will take a look, but given that there is no obvious negative effect on gameplay I'm not going to consider it a priority right now.

@S43emi Have you tried running the game with just this patch and the two mods activated?

If I deactivate the patch, no error pops up in the game, but I can't read the instructions for cannabis seeds. When I came across your patch, the issue got resolved, but today I'm encountering two errors again, and the mod responsible is LGR. I don't understand why LGR and GF mods became incompatible once more, especially when neither the game nor the mods have been updated. It's even more confusing. You need to make sure the mod is loaded in your game from the main menu as well just a heads up, that may be why it's not showing up. And you'll need to remove the LGR patch from your active modlist I think?
I haven't played in a while so I'm uncertain, let me know if you this works or not

I unsubscribed from the other patch, subscribed to this one, reloaded the server after restarting the game, and it shows "not subscribed" next to the LGR patch. Is it still reading the previous LGR patch? I can't find this one in the mod list as well. Do I need to add things to the Steam workshop section as well or do I just load to the mods portion?

The other LGR patch is outdated and will most likely cause issues if used with this, you're better off using this one by itself (it does the same thing).

If you run into any issues please dont hesitate to notify me, this hasn't been updated in a while and I haven't played since last year.

You should be able to read the packet, I'll investigate this when I finish work. You aren't using the other patch as well are you?
And yes you should be able to convert the tobacco seeds as I borrowed the recipe from the other patch.

2 things:
1. I have a cannabis seed packet, but i cannot get the option to read instructions like the tobacco seed packet. I also have no option to sow. what am i doing wrong?
2. are you supposed to be able to convert LGR tobacco seeds to GF tobacco seeds like the other mod that was supposed to patch it?

cannabis requires 18 seeds, not 50, so it shouldn't be a big problem

Unfortunately yes but you can find cannabis seed packets in the world as well, try school lockers and bedrooms, most reliable place to find them ive found

Hmm alright, I can read the instructions on the seed packets. But does this mean I have to obtain 50 cannabis seeds, put them in a packet, then read the instructions before I can plant them? I'm finding one at a time...

Have you read the instructions on the seed packets? its a feature snake added in for farming. right click on the seed packet and you should see 'read instructions' at the bottom of the context menu.

Also LGR is part of Snakes Mod Pack, which is one of the dependencies for this mod, so if you have any other questions about how the mod itself works check the discussion over there! or if you cant find the answer message back here and ill do my best to advise

Hello, I'm having an issue where I can't get 'sow seeds' to appear at all. The only mods I have active are the mods required to run this patch. I wanted to do just jigga's mod for the bud, but I can't run this patch without the LGR mod so I figured I'd run both. After having problems, I started turning the mods on and off and loading my game and I narrowed it down to the LGR mod itself, not your patch or jigga's mod, that is somehow causing this. Figured I'd ask here cause I can't find an actual LGR mod page, do you have any ideas? Playing on build 41.73

(i also may be wrong but i think the farming speed setting may also effect this)

please bare in mind that it will still take a substantial amount of time to dry but it will dry! i tested by using the time key plus mod and passing maybe 2 weeks or so, time of year will also effect how quickly it dries (judging by looking at the lua files), so your best bet is to dry during summer

@Cornholio Hi again, turns out the reason tobacco was taking so long to dry is because it's time required was far far higher than that of cannabis, this should fix the issue for you

Update incoming now, this will include a change to the drying time of tobacco to match with untrimmed cannabis
have also opted to use J's recipe swap for tobacco seeds
