Hey author this is a very cool submarine it is like a decent attack and most scout and the best part is the turret placement and cargo capacity. I hope your submarine becomes popular

@booper02: I'll have to check on that, but yeah it's possible that one of the game updates broke the drone circuit.

i dont know if this is related to an recent update i didnt read but i noticed today that the gun drone cant fire anymore, everything else still seems to work

well it works just fine for the most part, the only operational issue ive found was the bots being unable to reach the engine but everything else works just fine any other issues ive had are a bi-product of me tweaking the design for EH (i needed space for fabricators)

Yeah I generally need to freshen up my submarines as most of them were pre-1.0 and might have unintended lighting issues due to the changes made to lighting in the 1.0 release a year ago.
So when I do that I can include the drone, but trust me, you don't really wanna see the inner workings. It's an absolute mess and I barely understood what I was doing

love the sub, my only complaint is that the ""mod"" does not give me a blueprint for the drone, i would love learn more about how that works

the Luoti S might need an update, since the latest update it has begun catching fire in the electrical bay constantly but only when docked at a station.

First problem, when a crawler hit the window for the first time, it instantly inflict 100+ laceration afflictions which didn't help that the locking mechanism for airlock is broken if AI spamming it as well.

That does help a lot

@Hex: There's a button underneath the navigation terminal that allows you to toggle them between Blink, On, Off. I should've made that more clear :)

You use the periscope to steer it by holding your left mouse button and moving your mouse to a side. It automatically docks itself to the submarine again, if it is close to the docking station and you let go of left mouse button. You can use the drone to scout ahead in caves or to find minerals. It was designed to be used by 2 people so 1 is steering while the other looks at its mineral scanner so you can find minerals more easily.

So, how do you actually use the drone on the Luoti-S?
