Just got it built, and started on my first 10k km voyage. Added a remote just behind the bowsprit, an ore detector just behind the main cabin, and exchanged the store blocks for a BuildandRepair. Other than lacking the ability to go planet-side, this is an excellent little hauler. Plenty of cargo containers. Just enough program blocks for my usual scripts. I'll probably try to pipe in a connector on the upper deck for a small PAM miner, and I'll be good to go!

That little thing has a hangar?!

BTW the hangar doors blend into the ship very well.:steamthumbsup:

@avery_christy, I just looked up the ship you're talking about and I can definitely see the resemblance. Both ships draw inspiration from boats. But if you're looking for a ship that can serve as a mobile base, I don't think this the right one.

@Thrax spacewise it should be possible to convert it to hydrogen, but you'd have to tear out the entire engineering section and reconveyor a lot of the thrusters. I designed this ship exclusively for long range space travel so I don't think hydrogen is the right move, but if you want you want to convert it that's fine with me. I would appreciate it if you'd add a link to the original if you were to upload it to the workshop and add me to the contributors.
