how do you put both materials on???

You have to check the materials folder, not the legacy addons.

i try to put the second texture on the models like the feathers and rhe carno stuff but it keeps moving to material not sub material so it makes the whole model that texture what do i do

you need extended spawn menu
then go to legacy addon's then you should find them

turkeyguy123: Agreed. I had assumed the Sub-Material Tool has been around long enough that its use was common Gmodder knowledge by this point. Guess not.

They'll figure it out eventually.
