im having problems with shifting. I had done everything you said before with the 1970's ones. Do these require you to push in the clutch to shift? Im confused on why i break the engine.

It seems so much like a graphic issue but all the other carsets are fine. Does this mod have an individual setting I’m not aware of. I love the mod just want to fix this

Set everything to ultra and the screen res to the max-still the same. I am trying now an uninstall and reinstall of the mod

@uncalled_four, please can you try to set your Graphics Option higher, to see if this fix your Problem

I am getting brutal pixelisation on this and the 70s style as well you can see the pixel blocks on the skins the outside of the car looks as if the car is covered in saran wrap. The cars drive fine and the other cars in the sim are fine

Have to say, one of my favorites to drive. I love that the tires are not so square. These look like the tires they had, physics is great, just love driving these.

Personally I hope that you will not take AfarNUFC's suggestion into account. Rfactor 2 is a simulator. Check out this Lotus 49 video.

You can see how difficult the Lotus 49 is when braking, how difficult it is when it takes fast turns, how gentle you have to be on the throttle when exiting the turns.
How high is the wheel range / steering lock ratio.
You can see that the front inner wheel never loses contact with the tarmac. :)
And yes, like Alexander Bauer, I think that these cars should drive similarly to Eve, Spark or Brabham BT20.

Personally I hope you don't take on board the last suggestion. These cars drive perfectly as they are, if you want to drive a car that handles like the EVE68, drive the EVE68.

If I may give some suggestions, it could drive a little bit more like ISI EVE68, with more weight, softer suspensions, and less grip. My test was in Monaco 66, when Clark did 1:29.9 for the actual pole position. Please, keep doing your great job.

Chief, I tried your new mod (SC-70) and I have to say it's already pretty damn good, just like all the others. :) But I'd like to know - can you make the option to force the clutch pedal to be more immersive in that era?

These cars drive fantastically, halfway through a 40 race season in the 67's, loving them. Chief is a Genius, never stop bring us great content man :)

And if you are blowing engines all the time, yes you are driving them wrong, lol, I've not blown one yet. Make sure you regulate throttle application, lift on gear changes and don't over rev.

Is it possible to go more than two laps in these cars before the engine explodes or am I driving them incorrectly lmao

Scrolling thru the custom car parts I see references to different templates. Are these templates available? I checked the templates folder and didn't find anything there.

Any plans for adding rain drops to the windshields? The rain on the bodies looks great but it's the rain on the windshield that really makes driving in the rain cool.
The #22 car with it's 4cyl engine is my fav so far ( I always root for the underdog :)
And it's full windscreen would look great in the rain.

Wow! This must have been a HUGE amount of work. Fantastic detail on the engines and suspension.
One small problem: If the player drives the Brabham it's mirrors are black and so are all the other cars. If AI drive the Brabham it's mirrors are white with just a little bit of reflected stuff and all the other cars mirrors are OK.

Great job, it makes me think that many times the s397 doesn't know how to exploit the full potential of the RF2. This mod is so beautiful!!!
