Doesn't work for trains :(

Mod is not working anymore for me.

works great! ty. seems to actually give a few frames back, of course. so, i'm ok with that. beats despawning, but still doesn't resolve the issue. i'd love to learn how to make mods, maybe fix this damned pathing problem.

the traffic ai is utter s**t in this game. i've played vanilla, and modded - the traffic tends toward using center lanes only, regardless of choices available...and will often loop around a "block" to meet its tail, locking traffic. this kills a city. the developers must have had the same issues but couldn't solve it programmatically, so they introduced "despawn cars" then didn't give a way to disable despawning.

so, i'll give this a go, despite the loss in realism...but this game has become a traffic management game, solely. it's not a city builder when all you do is manage the f****** traffic.

a must have mod if you want a true sandbox experience in the game

You can't cheat in this game. You're not going up against anyone else. It's a single player game.

It's not even "technical" .. it is just simply NOT cheating. It's a single player game, that included options from the Developers to Unlock; Milestones, Money, Resources, etc .. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to "Cheat" in Cities Skylines.

You do realize that mods DISABLE achievements, right?
It's not technically cheating if that's the case... unless you get a mod that re -enables them, of course. Which this mod doesn't do.

wish it worked on all vehicles not just cars/trucks. my trains just keep making a infinite long line because they can't unload faster

I love the idea but really don't enjoy how they bunch up when they are driving, If you change that to where they don't then I would definitely use this mod. Very useful though if you need to try and do something stupid like a huge industry area!

this mod makes the cars and trucks bunch up together, looks weird and unrealistic

Great this mod helped me find the problem on my racetrack.TM:PE s individual driving styles was slowing the cars down.

I wonder why trams won`t affect by this mod? Tram on roads will be block by all cars make my passengers angry...

@Nico395 this definitely is not related to the mod. The mod does nothing more than override a method that checks if the game estimates that vehicles are gonna collide.

This mod currently does not work well, it completely breaks not only the traffic but also the functioning of other things like water and heating pipes.

i love this mod. any issue is sometimes, well a lot, cars seem to get stuck in an endless spinning loop on 1 node, drives me crazy

I am so thankful you made this modifier as now I can funnel all of my traffic with "NoClip" trhough 2-lane roads. I hope for a trains "NoClip" mod at some point.

This mod is now the most essential for me to enjoy the game. I don't want to worry about traffic or garbage or any of the other problems (and sometimes straight up flaws) in the game. Thanks

An excellent mod I have used since I started my newest 300k population city and has run flawlessly so far without any issues, thanks, it's nice to forget about traffic once in a while LOL....Although the one complaint I'd have is that any transit vehicles on lines can't make any use of unbunching it seems as I have tried many times but I always have to end up spacing transit vehicles apart myself in most cases

Also in this case I don't think a gif would be helpful either to those who haven't subbed to Ability to Read

there's a misunderstanding because the top line says they still check, and people probably misinterpreted it

@Mike it really isn't. It just comes from the fact that "collisions are gone" can be meant in both ways. There really isn't a good title that doesnt lead to that confusion.

In that case, the title is a bit misleading. Thus the confusion.

@terrencemc123 thats what it is supposed to do. CollisionBeGone is not supposed to prevent them colliding, but to remove the collision checks - so the game literally just lets them drive into each other, which therefore fixes the traffic jams.

Vehicles drive up into each other at stop lights. Not working for me.

@ucanteverget another mod takes care of rail vehicles, however I agree that it might be nice to combine the functionality of the two

Hey since ur good with manipulating the algorithm could you try to meld civilian ai with the emergency vehicle ai manipulating it to decide which lane would get the cims to destination quicker? just an idea. i really hate the lane stacking.
