It seems this mod has permanently broken the dice, and maybe the arrows. It removes the animation, and makes it so they don't trigger gamblers.

*And I've got coin enabled, and decreased speed from Instant to x4. it's a little more stable but still consistently crashing, usually when I take or skip an essence.

Having trouble with this mod. I've got Beast257's placeholder mod. I've got 3 commons and an uncommon enabled of both slots item and regular item. I've managed one complete run, and several other half-runs where the game crashes midway through and trying to reload the save crashes as well.

Hoping that I'm just missing something because otherwise getting 77 Guillotine deaths will be agonizing. Gonna try fiddling with settings some more.

Broken. Lags very bad when trying to change symbols and when I click start, it immediately crashes.

Ive noticed that with some mods that alter interactions with vanilla symbols such as "TwoLesbian's Ore Tweaks", as well as "I heard you like ores" having the vanilla symbol in the mods symbols and vanilla symbols as well. This causes a weird interaction since I'd need the ore symbol to be set as "disabled" in this mods settings, but that also effects the setting for the other mods having them as disabled. This causes it so the ore symbol is replaced by a question mark, even though the function still works. This happens with all mods that include a vanilla symbol. Is there a way to prevent the question marks?

TL;DR: Vanilla Be Gone requiring items to be marked as disabled to be enabled causes some items to be question marks if they also are in other mods' lists.

whenever I toggle any symbol it toggles ALL symbols, is this normal?

Also, while investigating, I noticed this seems to have missed (at least) 4 items. (Maybe they were added more recently?)

- `mobius_strip`
- `symbol_bomb_quantum`
- `turtle_and_rabbit`
- `void_party`

They can be disabled in the same way, by adding an override that sets the rarity to "none", so it should be a simple update to include them.

I've been trying to work out why this crashes for me. As far as I can tell, LBAL silently requires:

- the vanilla coin be available
- at least 3 common items in the item pool
- at least 1 uncommon item in the item pool

Not exactly sure why there need to be items in the item pool, or whether it's those exact combos or whether others might also work. But if I re-enable the coin and 4 such items (like 3 peppers and "Triple Coins", for example) then everything works as expected.

Downloaded this without reading the info cause I just wanted to play the pokemon mod as well. Didnt realize that a checkmark (which usually means enabled) means disabled especially since for the pokemon mod a checkmark means enabled. So I spent 30 minutes changing all the checks to xs, and now that I do know I cant redownload the mod or anything to quick fix it back to default. Dont want to spend another 30 minutes re disable anything.

@Reji8627 I didn't even know essences had to be unlocked, but i doubt this causes the problem since this mod doesn't affect essences

is there any chance the crashes could be caused by not having unlocked essences?

I wasn't using any mods other than Vanilla B Gone. My intention was to use this mod and then add the Luck be a Champion mod. Given I couldn't get this mod to work on its own, I removed it. I apologize that I can't provide a list of the symbols I turned off, I did a few from the top of the list and more of the items starting from the bottom before I stopped. Given I have removed the mod, I can't give you exact info.

I did install the Luck be a Champion mod on its own (without Vanilla B Gone) and got it to work. I did have to deal with the original symbols, but the new pokemon symbols didn't cause any issues.

May I ask which mods you use with is as well as which symbol/items you've reactivated ?

I only have this mod installed atm. I tried removing a bunch of symbols-- takes forever on my machine and gave up after 30 or so and tried to test it out. After collecting money, the "add symbols screen doesn't appear. Game crashes the second I click "spin" again.

I checked everything, but the starting symbols are all fine. I checked everywhere but i simply cannot reproduce the bug. Try like i said changing the game's installation, or messing but with the in-game settings

it is after money earned is calculated but before it is added to the counter, from what i can tell

is there a debug log somewhere to find that would help figure it out? Only other information that i could think of is it crashes before any coins are earned by the starter symbols.

I have absolutely no clues. Even if I install it alone, the Pokemon alone, or them together, in either order, it just... works. I have installed them through the workshop, and manually, it both works. I have no clues why it doesn't work for some people as I have no way to reproduce the crash.

Something I would advise is to try to have a fresh LBAL installation, or putting the LBAL installation on the same drive as the mod folders (the mod folder usually lurks within the "Roaming" folder). You can change a game's installation from the Game's proprieties.

Other than that, without any other information about the crashes, I cannot fix it.

I tried with and without the Luck Be A Champion mod. Whether I use Luck Be A Champion or not, the game crashes if Vanilla B Gone is enabled.

May I ask which mod you are running alongside this one ?

I think I would enjoy this if I could get it to work. Like the user below said, after the first spin the game crashes :(

@mrdevilkiller All symbols are disabled in-game by default. Disabling them in the mod tab will activate them in game.

@Anubscorpiak The mod seems to load, I tediously went through and disabled a bunch of symbols. Went into game and all of the symbols still showed up

@Anubscorpiak I've tried that several times. I've gotten it to work up until its time to pick the first item and then it crashes.

@Flamehot7 I have installed only both mods through the nexus and it works on my end. Try uninstalling and installing both mods. Also all symbols should be disabled by default (as in, enabled in the mod folder)

I'm trying to use this with the pokemon mod and it either crashes the game or give me both symbols. I've tried disabling all vanilla symbols & items, disabling all vanilla symbols & items, leaving everything enabled but nothing will give me only the modded symbols.

Would be perfect if this automatically disabled everything. It takes ~5 seconds to disable each symbol/item and there are 255 of them, so that comes out to ~21 minutes.

How can I avoid having to manually turn off every single item in the game? Because it would take an hour to go through the list and turn them all off.
