You could use Sadao Araki's portrait (general in the base game) as a placeholder for Senjuro Hayashi as they look very similar. Rikichi Ando also looks a lot like Nobuyuki Abe.

Hirohito was basically a puppet in the imperial council, he had very little power he could properly exercise without it getting vetoed by the other members. He isn't completely innocent but has much less of a role than people think he did.

Hideki was Just the scapegoat the Americans used to put all of Hirohito's doings on.

Great work, and thanks for your dedication to historical accuracy, this coming from someone who is a grandchild of a Japanese veteran and survivor of the Pacific War; I'm glad to see history getting its due instead of Showa The Almighty just randomly in charge in the base game like he was somehow equivalent to Mussolini or Hitler, when that wasn't how it worked at all. I think aside from character limitations, the last commentary speaks the most as to what really happened. It's bizarre that they rightly make Vittorio Emmanuale III a National Spirit for Italy, with Mussolini being the Prime Minister and self-styled "Il Duce", but yet, don't properly do the basic, obviously accessible research (simple to access, too, with like five minutes of effort, really) to make Showa Tenno the National Spirit of Japan, and make the Prime Ministers formally rule in the stead of the Tenno (Emperor), as was historical.
