Is there any way you could do that ? maybe ask the devs to open the modding options to roads as well ?
Does normal and specular maps work for trajectories? I don't see any effect, but that might be lack of support for trajectories, poor shading on simple phong shader or lack of support for dxt5nm format.
Also I changed only road_poorinside for testing purposes, expecting to change decorative fill only, but everything expect decorative path got affected. If they use same material with different texel density, it's impossible to match them together. Plus alpha blend between tiles of decorative planes and on road intersections look much worse than hard seam here and there. Total failure. :<
The pedestrian paths are OK, what I mean is the paths that can be "drawn" as decoration. They are still gravel. I have the "internal" test. Your cobblestone mod is super nice. I hope that in the game more types of surface will be added, each with their own specific characteristics.
and please make cobble stone sidewalks. The original paved road with gravel sidewalk doesn't make sense.
the area you chose to illustrate your mod reminds of the old city area of Lille, northern France! 50°38'09.7"N 3°04'01.4"E
Is there a specific place where it's located under the mods list??
Beautiful stuff! :)
