There's some other minor ones, but this is the only map optimization mod since it's the one that needs it the most, and also since I never got around to any others.
Also it will turn off achievements, but there's another mod called achievement unblocker that lets you turn them back on.

Is this the only optimization mod in the workshop?. Also if i start the game with the mod option on, will i still be able to get achivements? Ty

I'm absolutely sure that isn't the case given that the game hasn't even had an update since several months before this mod even came out.
What exactly do yo mean by "couldn't get the thing to work?"
If it's just not speeding it up, try messing with the configuration file, but if even that works, it's not known to universally work for everyone due to bottlenecks being different on different machines.
Also make sure to restart the game whenever you try changing the config, it unfortunately only loads them at startup.

It's fairly likely that it's things inside the fight rather than the stage in that case, or rather the stage plus the things in the fight causing the slow down. Also make sure to restart the game just to be sure.

Does anyone know how to fix? Or if it is just a thing for second R corp? Maybe it might be the pages that I have equipped?

The mod was working for me up until the second R corp fight. It was working fine when I was using Yesod for the other fights like liu fights, purple tear, finger fights and the first R corp fight, but suddenly performance dropped

Win+R %AppData% throws me into the Roaming folder for whatever reason. If anyone else isn't able to find it, make sure you're looking in C:\Users\(Username)\AppData, and not C:\Users\(Username)\AppData\Roaming

You can paste the path above directly into the file explorer address bar.
If you absolutely need to find it yourself, either open the start menu or press Win+R, type %AppData%, press enter, go up one folder, then follow the rest of the path.

Start Library of Ruina with mods enabled?
Enable the mod?

If the default settings aren't doing well enough for you, have you tried turning all of the settings in the config file to false?
