Can confirm same issue here- playing Cathay, then dwarves, settling in uninhabitable reagions the debuff is doubled- as the climate repairs via mod, the gold penalty still applies too, even though it shows you earning in the green, gold still depletes as if full penalty applied. This happens on both versions of the mod.

ive had it with 5 factions ( Naggarond, Grom , Alberic , Teclis, Grombrindal) in the unpleasant or uninhabitable climates near there starts. it must be a mod conflict but idk what mod would conflict with this one since none touch climates and only one would touches settlements in general ive only noticed this bug with the latest patch.

the base climate debuff and then the scaling debuff your mod makes to remove it so it doubles it then slowly subsides to base level. its interesting for a challenge run of sorts but not why i subbed to the mod but idk if its a conflict with another mod or not but it seems your mod no longer over writes the base game climate just adds a new one it seems?

unsubbed and resubbed and it still just doubles the climate debuffs, idk if its a conflict with another mod but i dont have anything that effects settlements or regions so idk why its still acting this way but its still bugged for me with dwarfs lizards and orcs and bretonnia

This mod needs some attention from the mod author, it is not working properly.
I and a friend are also seeing Climate Penalties still applying after and during adaptation. It works fine in singleplayer - but only sometimes, but it is annoyingly problematic in Multiplayer, where it multiplies the penalties and causes income and replenishment issues.

I'm also seeing the problem where it's just adding the new "reduced" penalties to the base climate penalty, resulting in doubling the penalties, reducing over time down to the base penalty. I'm playing High Elves, and I captured Tor Dranil. Climate tooltip says I should have -3 to Control. But when I hover over the control number, it shows -6 due to climate.

It also appears to be applying both the +50% to building cost, and the +42.5% from the reduced penalty. It wants to charge me 1925 for a Militia Camp.

Might have spoken too soon:

Bordeleaux Errant in their purging of Southern Chaos waste, had captured Okkam's Forever Maze in The Daemonium Hills and taken a little pause, the climate adaption was working fine. The adaptation was at 55% so only getting the -2 control climate penalty. After capturing the Castle of Splendor and Crucible of Delights, the total climate penalty was -12 control. CoD & CoS were getting the full penalty plus the -2 adapted penalty. The adaption ticked over to 70% the climate penalty, dropped to -9 control. Capture the last settlement and 100% adaptation, still getting -9 control and no adaptation counter.

Sometimes Steam just won't update the mod file, maybe try unsub and resub this mod? If the bug still happens, please let me know which faction you are using and which region is bugged.

更搞的是mod的气候适应和原版的气候适应debuff能够叠加,我看着我-75%收入,四本到五本要12个回合的城陷入沉思:steamsad:(好消息是完全适应气候之后只有-15%了)

Dragon's Death does not update for me, other regions with the same climate is updating. I'm playing as Imrik, don't have any other mods that touch climate. Not sure if it's just this game or if it has happened before.
