Actually. I spent three days making sure I didn't add too many polygons when making it bipedal. Honestly I only added some to make the arms and legs/feet longer

bodygroups are fairly simple, create a separate smd for the birthday hat and rig it to the head, then just add something like the code below to the .qc file

$bodygroup "Coat" // Bodygroup will be shown as 'Coat' ingame
{
blank // Default to disabled
studio "coat_ref.smd"
}
