I wanna talk about the depressed. Really cool concept for a character, but I feel like it’s inherently flawed, the only thing “rock bottom” about this character is that you’re at rock bottom stat wise for the whole run. It goes against a core mechanic of Isaac, being that you’re encouraged to explore each floor for a better chance at a good run. With this character, why would I explore at all if i’m actively being punished for it; i’d just find the boss asap and use whatever boss/deal items I get to carry the run. If I could suggest a rework, it would be that every time you go to a new floor, your stats lock at what they were when you jumped into the trap door as the “new minimum” as in your stats can’t drain any further until you pick up another stat up, draining back to the new minimum of the floor. It still promotes the fast play style I think you were going for without actively punishing the player for wanting to spend more than 30 seconds on a floor.

@ItsDevMax I was going to say no since the characters are pretty in-written with the custom character selection menu, but I guess once they are "fully fleshed out" (most costumes done, some synergies, tainted version, and unlocks) I might release them individually as well

Are there any plans to ever make a standalone "Plumboy" or "Spark" mod?

@Stlkngne I realized too late that the menu controls and my menu's controls are flipped... I will most likely switch them so it matches the real menu, even if that will confuse a lot of people for a bit again. Unfortunate mistake..

@Slendy_boi12 Couldn't replicate this, the good old "re-install the mod" might work, if not then it might be a different mod causing it

Can't replicate crash. Did you have any items that usually cause crashes, like The Parasite + Cricket's Body?

Should be fixed now, for some reason steam deleted half the files from the previous upload... In theory now the mod actually has it's files

i am experiencing the same issue, the menu for Metabirth appears to be invisible, but i can still select characters from the mod

Reporting a potential bug here, I'm unable to play any of the characters as when I select "Metabirth" in the normal character selection screen it takes me to a run without a character to control.

looks cool tho will be favouriting for now
